Flinders Chase Visitor Centre
Drive 45 minutes further to Flinders Chase National Park. Visit The Rocks Cafe, a cozy new café nestled within the Flinders Chase Visitors Centre. The café boasts a menu rich with locally sourced ingredients, featuring a variety of freshly brewed coffees, artisanal teas, and delectable baked goods. Whether you're craving a light snack or a hearty meal, The Rocks provides a perfect spot to unwind after exploring the stunning landscapes of Flinders Chase. Come for the food, stay for the views, and let The Rocks be your sanctuary in the wild.
Remarkable Rocks
Just 20 minutes drive, perched above the sea in Flinders Chase National Park, the impressive Remarkable Rocks form what appear to be a cluster of precariously balanced granite boulders. This stunning work of nature has been shaped by the erosive forces of wind, sea spray and rain over some 500 million years. The golden orange lichen covering some of the rocks offers visitors wonderful photo opportunities at different times of the day. Interpretation signs share the story of how these intriguing rocks were formed. There is a viewing platform providing a vantage point for disabled access. The area also provides an excellent vantage point for viewing the photogenic Casuarina Islets.
Admirals Arch
Take a 5 minute drive to Admirals Arch, a natural rock arch created by amazing forces of nature. It's situated within Flinders Chase National Park on Kangaroo Island. You can access the boardwalk around the cliff face which leads to a viewing platform overlooking the arch. The arch is sculpted by weathering and erosion from the sea over thousands of years. To reach the arch there is a purpose-built boardwalk, it’s steep with steps at the end that take you to see the arch itself. If you can’t make it down to the arch, the scenery along the way is still well worth a journey along the boardwalk. Fur-seals often play among the rocks. These dark brown seals feed at sea but return to land to rest and breed. In summer, each of the large males establishes a territory with a number of females. You can often see Fur-seal pups playing near the rock pools beneath the arch.
Clifford's Honey Farm

5.00My friend and I recently went on a Premium 2 Day Kangaroo Island tour with Discover Adelaide Tours. We enjoyed every minute of the trip. Our wonderful guide, Liz, had organised a comprehensive itinerary which included the key sites and activities of the island. At no point did we feel rushed. We travelled in the comfort of the Discover Adelaide vehicle with pickup from, and drop off to, our Adelaide hotel. On the island, we had a private guided tour of the Cape Willoughby Lighthouse, as well as a private guided beach experience at Seal Bay to marvel at the sea lions. There were so many highlights! A dune buggy tour through Little Sahara to see koalas in the wild! Gazing at Remarkable Rocks and the wild seas! Watching the fur seals on the rocks at Admirals Arch! We also visited a Eucalyptus Distillery and a Ligurian bees honey farm. Our overnight accommodation in a sea view room in Kingscote was very good, as were our meals on both days. We could not have asked for a better 2 day tour to Kangaroo Island, and that was thanks to the excellent, professional and considerate organisation of our tour guide, Liz, owner of Discover Adelaide Tours.

5.00Comfortable SUV for drive from Adelaide to Sealink ferry and then around Kangaroo Island. Excellent commentary on the history and fauna. Plenty of stops to enjoy the views with a variety of activities

5.00This trip was exceptional from start to finish. Liz kept us informed from the moment we made our booking. Kangaroo Island is a must see destination. Each place we visited was absolutely amazing. Food was great. We had considered a self drive tour. This small group guided tour is definitely a better option.

5.00It was such a fun and new experience! We saw wild animals like koalas and kangaroos in the wilderness and the ocean and the observatory were also very beautiful. My best memory is riding a buggy in Little Sahara and seeing wild koalas. I had many experiences that I can’t do in Japan!️

5.00It was a full two-day tour. It was a very fulfilling tour, stopping the car to take photos and commentary when we spotted wild kangaroos and koalas along the way! We also rode a buggy in the Little Desert and met sea lions and seals on the second day! They also prepared a guidebook in Japanese, so I think Japanese people can enjoy it easily!!

5.00Fantastic trip with Liz. Great value for money! food transport, passes and hotel all included. Liz thought of absolutely everything and created a great atmosphere throughout. Loved getting close up to wildlife, the spectacular scenery and the slower pace of this tour. Am so glad we decided on the 2 day tour in a small group. We really did have time to stand and stare - no pressure rushing back to the bus at anytime. I particularly enjoyed the buggy ride in the sand dunes to see the wildlife, at 65 I was a little apprehensive but I had no need to be. It was such great fun and our wonderful french driver was so entertaining. Highly recommend the tour 5 star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. Plus. Rowena and Jenny

5.00This tour was one of the biggest highlights of our honeymoon trip to Australia. If you are in Adelaide/SA definitely do this tour. Everything about it was a treat and well worth it. From the wildlife, the unique experiences like a buggy ride in the dunes and a eucalyptus distillery tour, to the truly beautiful landscapes and delicious food KI is a dream. Liz puts on a wonderful experience and has really planned a make this excursions for her guests. Book the tour, you will not be disappointed!
