5.00Raniah collected our group of 4 from reception of our cruise boat at 6am. Arrived at Karnak at 6:15am when only a few visitors there. Her knowledge and enthusiam was amazing. Cant recommend more highly.

5.00Reem was an excellent tour guide and provided a lot of fascinating information as we explored Karnak and Luxor Temples. She was very knowledgeable but also extremely warm, friendly, polite, and willing to take as many photos as I wanted without making me ever feel like I was imposing. I loved going here during sunset — it was quite breathtaking. The epic and colossal nature of these sacred temples and monuments are quite awe-inpsiring to say the least. I highly recommend booking this tour — you won't regret it! Thanks Reem, for an unforgettable experience!

5.00This was an amazing experience! We've visited several other Egyptian sites solo or just with a driver, but wanted to see at least one with a guide, and it's 100% worth it. Rania was amazing - full of knowledge and enthusiasm, she really made our day. Bukr the driver was also super friendly and helpful. The whole day was well organised, with good communication before and on the day from Walid. Golden Joy Travel are the best tour agency we've dealt with so far in Egypt and I'd strongly recommend them to anyone.

5.00Exploring Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple with Walid was amazing. We started at Karnak, and were impressed by its vastness, with highly-decorated entranceways, walls, and columns everywhere, especially in the Great Hypostyle Hall. The columns were covered in intricate and colorful hieroglyphics. Walid explained the significance of the different sections to us as well as interpreting many of the hieroglyphics. He answered all our questions well and we enjoyed hearing his stories behind the hieroglyphics. Then we continued to Luxor Temple, which is where new pharaohs would be crowned and had a more elegant feel. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour and recommend it.

5.00Walid was an excellent guide and we thoroughly enjoyed the tour of the temples. I could feel the majesty with the ornate architecture and could easily picture what it was like thousands of years ago. We went at 7am on a Saturday morning and it was so peaceful, calm, not too hot. I could explore these temples again and again- there's so much to admire. Thank you, Walid!

5.00This was such an informative and fun day. Ahmed is incredibly knowledgeable, especially given his past experience as a local archaeologist which is truly impressive! We learned so much about the temples and the history in Luxor. Ahmed has an incredible way of telling stories where you can feel his passion about them, which makes it even more exciting to learn.
3 Day Luxor Tour with Kids

5.00We had an amazing 3-day tour in Luxor as a family of four with two young kids. On the third day, we visited the Dendera Temple of Hathor, located about 1.5 hours north of Luxor by car. We were lucky to be paired with Rania, a Luxor local with a master’s degree in Egyptology who reads hieroglyphics like a pro! She did a fantastic job explaining the history at each site, answering all our questions, and tailoring the experience to keep our kids engaged. The tour company was incredibly efficient, with spot-on transportation and a breathtaking sunrise balloon ride that they arranged seamlessly. We asked to skip some of the usual tourist roadside stops, and they accommodated our request without any issues. Our days started around 7:30 AM, and we were usually back at the hotel by early afternoon. The price was very fair and arranged easily via WhatsApp. Highly, highly recommend!
