Meeting your guide at Mongoose Junction and launching the kayaks from a beach in Cruz Bay, you’ll paddle across the turquoise harbor and enter the waters of the Virgin Islands National Park, passing scenic coastline and beaches on your way to serene Scott’s Beach.
There, snorkel over a coral reef, seagrass beds, and turtle habitats, where you’re likely to spot sea turtles, Caribbean fish, and stingrays in their natural environment. After relaxing on the beach, paddle back to Cruz Bay with memories of a one-of-a-kind marine adventure.

5.00We had an incredible time! Our guide Johnathon was amazing so helpful, knowledgeable and so much fun!!! Saw alll kinds of sea creatures and big turtles!! Perfect amount of time!! The price was reasonable for everything!!

5.00This was a great way to start our vacation in St. John. Pat was incredibly knowledgeable, curious, and considerate. He was able to read the group and see that we had snorkeled before and were up for an ambitious trip. We kayaked out to Honeymoon bay, where there was plenty to see! He brought the GoPro Out and took great photos of the animals we saw, as well as great action shots of our family. The equipment was great and the kayak seats specifically were the most comfortable we have ever used (and we have bad backs!). You could tell he loved his job because every time we saw a new animal, his enthusiasm was genuine and infectious. Thank you, Pat, for making my Mom's 70th a day to remember!

5.00The team with Virgin Islands Ecotours were awesome! They were very accommodating; they were willing and able to switch the date and type of experience at the last minute plus refunded the difference in price (which I was not expecting due to the last minute changes). My guide, Kenny, was amazing! Very knowledgeable and I definitely saw way more sea life than I would have snorkeling on my own. 100% recommend!

5.00Kenny and Stephanie were fantastic. They were well organized and made the experience as pleasant as it could possibly be. The adventure did not disappoint as we saw so many different creatures and fish in the water and sea turtles! (also a spotted ray and squid and an octopus)!! There was never a rush and Kenny was a plethora of local information. Thanks for the recommendation for St John Back Bar! Sushi was amazing. Definitely would do this again next time.

5.00Kenny & Jonathon were great guides for our kayak & snorkle @ Scott's beach. We saw turtles, rays, a barracuda, an octopus in its den, and lots of Reef fish, some of the largest I've seen in St John.

5.00It was so fun! We met at their office in Mongoose Junction and they were all friendly and helpful. Josh was our guide in the kayaks. He was full of personality and knowledgeable! He seemed genuinely excited to be taking a group out on the kayak and showing us all there is to see and having a great time! We kayaked past Solomon Bay Beach, Honeymoon Beach, and Caneel Bay with bits of island education and jokes being given by Josh along the way! We stopped at Scott’s Beach and snorkeled seeing a sea turtle, stingray, an octopus and so many beautiful fish! After we had our fill with that we headed back to the starting point in the kayaks with Josh keeping us entertained and laughing the whole way! It was a great tour! If you’re looking for something that doesn’t take up your whole day, but is fun and shows some island attractions, this is it!! Ask for Josh!
