  Our guide Raphael was excellent. We went out-going tide to the bay so there was not much water, but we were going with the tide, so paddling was easy. My wife had to be pulled off the sandbars a bunch of times- Thats why I booked the private tour just the 2 of us. Then we road the tide back with more water under us. Had a great time; will do it again in 2026

  I had a morning to fill in Sandwich and love getting out on the water and learning about new places. It was a lovely paddle, it was interesting to see the marsh change as the tide came in, but I was disappointed that I didn't learn much. Other reviews talked about how the guide pointed things out but this was just a paddle and we stopped at the beach of 45 minutes. Ok, but I paid for that time and I can wander the beach for free. The least they could have done was act as a guide on the beach for those that were interested. Maybe the issue was that it was a large group? I enjoyed the time on the water but could have had the same experience for less $ by just renting a kayak on my own and wandering the beach on my own (which I actually did before heading to the tour).

  Had a wonderful time on this excursion. The guides were friendly and engaging. I have a new love for kayaking. Would definitely recommend.

  Jeremy was an outstanding guide and just good people! A local history teacher with a fantastic personality and a vast knowledge of the local…..everything! We knew we would have a good time and have a good tour. We ended up having a great tour and an amazing time on the water with Jeremy.

  The crew at Ride Away Adventures went over and above on my kayak adventure. I needed assistance getting in and out of the kayak due to knee surgery. They never once made me feel like a burden. The views and history shared added to the whole experience.Thank you RAA!!

  This was a nice, medium effort kayak trip through the marshes of Sandwich, Cape Cod. Our guide was friendly and helpful. We saw lots of birds and got to experience the joy of kayaking in fairly still water.

  Such a nice and peaceful waterway to kayak on. Beautiful nature! Kyle was a fabulous tour guide. We went on a Monday and 3 of us pretty much had a private tour. Fabulous time

  What an excellent experience! We registered for a tandem kayak tour just 30 minutes before it began, while en route to the location. The company had space for us and welcomed us with smiles and a quick overview of our route: a real estate tour, a beach stop to walk or swim, a gentle coast through bird nesting areas, and more. Due to weather and timing, we ended up being the only participants, so we got a private kayaking tour! Our guide was absolutely fantastic. She’s a marine biologist with a clear passion for wildlife. She picked out interesting beach finds and explained them to us. I even got to take home a horseshoe crab shell she found! The beach stop was a highlight: beautiful for walking, with warm waters perfect for swimming. We had a blast splashing around, and she gave us total flexibility with how much time we spent there. Beyond her marine knowledge, she shared funny stories about the houses along the coast, commented on the many fake owls and clever boat names, and made the whole tour feel personalized and engaging. She was patient with our kayaking pace, happily took as many photos as we wanted (which she later sent to us for free via email with the company’s logo), and gave us great food and ice cream recommendations for after the tour. Even with slightly unlucky weather, this guide made our experience outstanding. I would absolutely recommend this company!

  Picked a gorgeous day. Sunny, no humidity and a little breezy, paddled against the tide to get out to some sandbars. Rode the ride in to return. Good workout and fantastic views. Our Guide was friendly, helpful and funny. A definite thumbs up!

  The tour guides were excellent! The view is beautiful and overall, it was a great experience! We went with a group and everyone was so nice!
