Beyond the main tourist attractions, hidden in a rural area between Rastoke Village and Plitvice Lakes National Park, lies the Natural Monument Mreznica River. This conservation area features a dense forest covering the canyon, a river surrounded by cliffs, and a habitat for brown trout, beavers, turtles, and birds—accessible only by kayak.
The source of the Mreznica River is just 12 km upstream from civilization, yet it provides clean, drinkable water. Surrounded by untouched nature, emerald-green waters, gentle rapids, and serene waterfalls, it is the perfect spot to immerse yourself in nature’s beauty.

5.00Great first time kayaking/rafting experience! It has optional skill/ risk levels along the same waterway so you can choose your degree of difficulty/ “danger” along the way. Our guide Cata, was super knowledgeable, friendly and helpful! Well worth it!

5.00This was such a great family adventure. My husband and I went with our teenagers and we had an amazing day! Angelo was a terrific guide and helped me (the mom) overcome by fears and do all the things - like jumping from the waterfall. I would totally recommend! Thanks for making the end of our trip so memorable.

5.00It was a very nice experience, very much worth it! The guides Andrija and Angelo, locals who were extremely nice to everyone, taking their time and making sure you enjoyed the experience. The river is beautiful and fun with some very nice drops. We fully recommend this trip, company and guides.
