Beyond the main tourist attractions, hidden in a rural area between Rastoke Village and Plitvice Lakes National Park, lies the Natural Monument Mreznica River. This conservation area features a dense forest covering the canyon, a river surrounded by cliffs, and a habitat for brown trout, beavers, turtles, and birds—accessible only by kayak.

The source of the Mreznica River is just 12 km upstream from civilization, yet it provides clean, drinkable water. Surrounded by untouched nature, emerald-green waters, gentle rapids, and serene waterfalls, it is the perfect spot to immerse yourself in nature’s beauty.

Kayaking the waterfalls was one of our favourite activities in Croatia. The guide was funny and had loads of information - the experience wasn't rushed. Felt very safe.... was exciting enough for an adventurous teenager with cheat options for a nervous parent!! Head to Rastoke after for food and river swimming

This is one of the best travel experiences I’ve ever had!!! The scenery was beautiful, the water was so lovely to swim in, the waterfalls were like nature’s version of Disneyland’s Pirates of the Caribbean, but obviously even better, and the guides were so nice and helpful!!! Hvala ti, Andrijq and Angelo so much!!!!

Brilliantly lead rafting experience with amazing scenery and crystal clear water. Our guides Andrea and Paulini were knowledgeable, skilled, enthusiastic and entertaining!! They made this trip effortless, fun and highly enjoyable. Highly recommend.

Fantastic morning kayaking on the Mreznica waterfalls. Cata was our guide and was very lovely. The scenery is wonderful, the kayaking the right side of exhilarating workout being scary, and the jumps in the waterfall so much fun. Highly recommend

Fabulous time on the water. Angelo was the best: knowledgeable about the local area and river, gave us such fun and was great with the kids and made us feel safe throughout. Absolutely beautiful river and surroundings. Good safety briefing at all points with options depending on how much of a daredevil you want to be. We were mixed in our group! Would 100% recommend

Fantastic experience. A full half day. We had an amazing guide, Paulina, who really took care of us. She took time to explain about the rivers and wildlife as well as making sure we were all safe and had a great time.
