Kayaking the Nam Khan River & Tad Sae Waterfall (L) High water season (August to January): Meet your guide in Luang Prabang and drive 25 minutes to our Adventure Camp. After a boat cruise to the Tad Sae Waterfalls for swimming, return to the camp and begin a 20 km (12 mi) kayak trip. Paddle through jungle, enjoy lunch by the river, and encounter exciting rapids. For experienced kayakers, an extended 25 km route is available. Low water season (February to July): Due to low water, the full-day trip is unavailable. However, a 11 km (7 mi) half-day kayaking option offers beach stops, tree jumping, and a visit to Henri Mahout’s resting site.
