Join us on a Pirates Cove Key Largo sunset boat tour to experience a breathtaking, tranquil escape where vibrant skies meet calm waters, painting the perfect tropical evening while looking for local dolphins and manatees.
We provide water, but feel free to bring your own food and beverages as there is a cooler on board! You may bring adult beverages onto the boat; please no glass. In an effort to reduce the amount of single-use plastic that ends up in our oceans, we recommend bringing a reusable water bottle. We have water coolers in our shop and on our boats for your convenience!

5.00we scheduled an impromptu sunset cruise with Pirates Cove Watersports and boy did we luck out. We were scheduled with Capt. Joe on his pontoon boat and no one else scheduled so we had him and the boat to ourselves. He shared MANY facts about the birds, celebrity homes, eco friendly animals, mangrove info and alot more. the sunset was beautiful. he spent more than enough time getting to know us, sharing info about himself and his boating history. I would highly recommend him for a sunset cruise if you are thinking about booking one and enjoying the knowledge he has to share, along with many laughs! 5.00We went on a sunset cruise on 1/17/26, and it was wonderful. Katie was our captain and she was great. So informative and energetic, we had such a great time. Liber was her first mate and he also did a great job. I would highly recommend this sunset cruise!!

Great way to start or end your Key West trip

5.00When you go to Key West, you must get out on the water. The best way to start your trip is to go on a sunset cruise. We went on our cruise with Pirates Cove Watersports, and our guide was Scuba Joe. He was AMAZING! His love for the Keys and his knowledge of the area made our trip so enjoyable. We discussed local history, local residents, the natural environment, great bars and restaurants while taking in a beautiful sunset. AND...we were blessed with a large group of dolphins jumping in our wake right in front of us! There were 3 couples in our group, for a total of 6 people. We used the pontoon boat for our trip, which we preferred. We ended up doing two sunset cruises with this same company - our second guide was no where near as good, so if you have time to plan ahead, call and ask for Scuba Joe!
Really enjoyable trip, with a great captain.

5.00Excellent. Jack (Captain Jack) was our captain, and did a great job. He’s personable, laid-back and easy-going, and did a really nice job. Was not rushed, and we actually took more time than was allotted, which was great. An inexpensive trip compared to some others, which was partly why I selected it, and it was certainly worth it. Thumbs up.

5.00We did the sunset tour with Captain/Scuba Joe last night and it was amazing! He’s super friendly and such a great guy — really knows his stuff about the local ecosystem and shared tons of cool info about the Keys. You can also feel his passion for his job. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip! We’ll be recommending Pirates Cove Watersports to anyone heading to Key Largo or the Keys!
