Upon arrival, a credit card will be required at check-in to hold a $200 deposit for incidental charges during your stay. If there are no additional charges, this amount will be refunded.
Recommended for guests to bring their own front-facing infant seats. Limited child seats are available at an additional charge on request.
Please note we do not carry children under the age of 1 and no refund will be given.
Please note that Queensland law requires all guests travelling on our coaches to wear seat belts at all times, failure to do so could result in a Queensland Government fine.
The commencement of hotel pickups is approximately 2 hours prior to the departure time of the tour, you must make telephone contact with the local service provider to book the pickup and verify the exactness of your pickup time, this must be done at least 48hrs prior to the departure.

Travel from River Heads aboard the ferry of your choice and arrive at Kingfisher Bay Resort on K’gari (please select your ferry time at the time of booking). Start your getaway in style with a pre-night stay at the Resort, where you can relax on island time, enjoy full access to the resort facilities, and experience the all-new Illumina light show in the evening. Check-in to accommodation (after 2.00pm). Lake Wabby
Swim in the emerald-green window lake and explore the only example of a barrage lake found of Fraser Island, after your trek across the shifting sands of the Hammerstone Sandblow. (Please note: this is a 4km return walk through bushland and across soft sands - a moderate fitness level is required).
Central Station Rainforest
Check-out the interp displays and discover a former logging station that was once the hub of a bustling timber industry. Walk the boardwalk paths alongside Wangoolba Creek.
Lake McKenzie
Enjoy a revitalising swim in the fresh, crystal blue water and relax on the sandy white beaches of this picture-perfect perched dune lake.

Tour the sandy highway – the ‘spine of Fraser Island’, running from Hook Point to Great Sandy Cape. During this journey, take an extra opportunity to join the Air Fraser team for a scenic flight over the island.

Relax on the sandy banks, wade through the invigorating shallow waters or drift downstream – the fastest flowing creek on the island is sure to revitalise your mind, body and soul.
Maheno Ship Wreck
Learn the intriguing history of this once proud passenger liner that was washed ashore in 1935 during an out-of-season cyclone. While you’re at it, take the chance to stretch your legs and take a holiday snap with this rusting wreck.
The Pinnacles
The Pinnacles Coloured Sands - one of Fraser’s more magical locations, you will hear the Dreamtime story of how these rainbow coloured cliffs came to be.
Indian Head
Cruise past the most easterly point of the island, which is home to marine life such as turtles and rays, often spotted in the waters around the base of this rocky headland

5.00Better than I had hoped. Dave D was our driver and guide, he was very friendly, professional and knowledgable. Everything is meticulously planned and works seamlessly. Accommodation is fairly basic but it adds to the wilderness experience. Well worth doing the short flight offered as an extra from the beach ( extra cost)

5.00The 2-day tour with bus driver and guide Keith was great. Keiht has offered a great experience and conveyed the highlights of the island as well as a lot of information very entertaining. We didn’t know that an off-road tour by bus could be so much fun. Thanks to Keith and the team at K'gari Explorer Tours.

5.00Hayden was the Most Amazing Tour Guide. His knowledge of the islands culture, the land and history made the trip 5 star. The King Fisher bay resorts are excellent. The food provided for breaky and lunch were very tasty.. The 3 day itinerary is flexible due to tides, vehicles stuck in the sand and the occasional fery mechanical issues. Thus is a REAL 4x4 bus adventure, seat belts required. A lot of bouncing around. I highly recommend this outfit.

5.00Well..when your tour guide talks and looks like Crocodile Dundee you know that's a good start ..and it just got better and better. Keith knew so much about everywhere we went with a good sprinkling of folklore and Aussie music. K'gari is unbelievably beautiful and we went to ALL the places that were on the map plus some. This is an incredible experience and if Keith is your guide to this paradise you will have hit the jackpot!
