Discover the wild beauty of Khao Sok National Park on a full-day guided trip from Khao Sok. Feed and bathe elephants and take a bamboo raft downstream. Enjoy a Thai lunch, visit a market, and try local coffee.
Following pickup from your hotel in Khao Lak, head to the Takuapa local market (only guests picked up from Khao Lak. Guests from other pick-up locations will not visit the local market) to browse and look at all the products.
From there, continue to the elephant rescue camp. Feed these amazing animals some bananas and cool them off with a bath. Next, visit the monkey temple. Eat a Thai-style lunch at the local restaurant next to the river before bamboo rafting along the Khao Sok River.

Stop at the river bank for some trekking and relaxing in the front of a limestone cave after enjoying a coffee break. This coffee is made in a bamboo stick and served in bamboo cups, which you can take home with you.

5.00Great day out! Our Trainee tour guide Nam was fantastic and the driver ( I think his name was go) was excellent. They were both interactive and gave good information about our tour. Really enjoyed the bamboo rafting and the guy assisting us was very helpful. It was a little difficult for me to get on and off the raft and I appreciated his help. I highly recommend this trip

5.00Such an amazing trip, so much to see in the beautiful Khao Sok National Park floating down the river followed by a delicious lunch. Amazing time spent with such majestic elephants where we fed them and then bathed them. If I could change anything it would be to miss out the market where we stopped for 20 minutes and spend more time on the river, but wow, such a fantastic day

5.00You gotta do this. It’s simply stunning. Stopped halfway and had coffee in bamboo mugs which you get to keep. An amazing memory.

5.00We had an amazing Bamboo Rafting Tour! 🌿🚣♂️ Our guide and driver were super friendly and made the whole trip really enjoyable. The Thai market was an absolute highlight with so many authentic impressions, and the Monkey Temple is definitely a must-see. The elephants were simply breathtaking and such an unforgettable experience. Even the bamboo canoe ride was great fun and gave us beautiful views.

5.00We were met very promptly at our hotel by our Excellent Guide Adam and friendly Bus Driver Mr Sutisak Sinbaen. There was one young French woman and a Dutch Couple accompanying us , so a nice intimate group . First stop was Takuapa Local Market . It was very interesting and nice to browse . Beware if you have a weak stomach 😂. Next Stop was Elephant Rescue Camp . This was an Amazing Experience and one we will always remember . The animals are truly loved by the people who care for them and it was great to interact with them by feeding and bathing them . En route to do the Bamboo Rafting , we stopped at a View Point and took some amazing snaps . The Bamboo Rafting was amazing . The scenery , the bamboo coffee , the silence . My wife and I were both nervous due to some medical issues . But we need not have worried , we were helped every step of the way . Lunch was next and a beautiful spread of tasty local food was laid on for us . Delicious . Our final stop was the Monkey Temple . WOW is the only word I can find to describe that . A truly Wonderful Day . It will be very hard to find an excursion that is better than this . A Truly Amazing Experience.

5.00Brilliant, varied day out, thoroughly recommend. Title of trip doesn’t really do it justice, rafting is only a small part of the day. Our guide ‘ Nok’ was brilliant, she took us around a local market first and encouraged us to try some new foods. The the elephant sanctuary, washing the animals in the river was amazing, better than the one in Phuket. Then rafting with a coffee break, lunch and Monkey temple.

5.00My review is over a year late lol but this was an awesome experience with my son. The guide and bus driver were amazing with amole time in many places. We bathed elephants, visited the monkey temple (meh tbh), visited a local market, hiked and rafted the river too! Had an amazing coffee drinking experience in the jungle made in bamboo over an open fire. 10/10.
This is definitely recommended to do this.
