Our boats carry 12 passengers each. This allows for small intimate tailored tours. For group booking larger than 12 people, they will be seperated into two boats. Be sure to bring your camera as there are some fantastic views of the Castle and other sights of kilkenny. See the city as both invaders and settlers did, from the river. Our guides cater each trip individually depending on your knowledge of kilkenny history and that of the river Nore, including it's wildlife. This trip will leave you feeling relaxed and having a little more knowledge of the city's colourful characters and past.

3.00The boat trip is less than a mile in total length. The depth of the water versus the height of the walls makes viewing buildings and land marks difficult. Tree limbs obstruct the views of said landmarks. The tour guide was nice and informative. The tour itself was lackluster.

5.005 stars for Cliff. We could have stayed with him all day. His knowledge of Kilkenny was a great add on to our trip. Loved it!!!

5.00We had a wonderful trip up and down the Noir River hearing great history of sights seen from Ann Marie, our river guide! It is definitely a worthwhile experience and highly recommended if you visit Kilkenny!

5.00A boat trip suitable for ages, young to elderly. The guide was very helpful and informative which enhanced the whole experience. The trip was around 40 minutes so not too long. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip and would recommend.

5.00This boat trip is definitely well worth taking. We had already been to all of the tourist attractions, so this was a perfect way to end our trip. Cliff, our guide, was brilliant in his storytelling and historical facts, and it gave us a more detailed picture of the history of Kilkenny. Enjoyed the leisurely pace and to see Kilkenny Castle from the river is spectacular and all the bridges. A beautiful river.

5.00Cliff was a fountain of knowledge. Really appreciated the help with elderly parent getting on and off the boat. Would highly recommend this tour. Well worth it five stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
