Amazing authentic Japanese experience. From getting dressed into kimono, to learning their traditions surrounding tea ceremonies, to the beautiful zen garden they allow you to take photos in. They really cared about sharing their culture with us and was even kind enough to help us with another booking due to language barrier. Very grateful for this experience.

Absolutely loved this experience! It was so cool to dress up in the kimonos. All the staff were very attentive and kind. The girl that did our tea ceremony was so funny! I would recommend this to everyone coming to Japan. Also at the end of the ceremony you can walk around in the kimonos and take pictures outside. 10/10!

I didn't expect such a beautiful ceremony. From the check-in to the women dressing us in kimono and doing our hair, every part of the experience was wonderful. The ceremony of making matcha and the meaning behind it added to the charm. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Tokyo.

I recommend arriving a few minutes before the booked time. With maps it was very easy to find the place where the ceremony takes place.

Since I wasn’t sure about the location in japan, went there 30 minutes before the reserved time & wasn’t sure it was the right location until 20 minutes before & the lady in kimono started to placed the signs in front of the door. There were pretty artistic matcha tea cups displayed as soon as got to the registration desk, then guided to the room to pick kimono. There were few ladies ready to hell us & within 15 minutes around, I became Japanese doll…🇯🇵👘💖 Learned matcha tea ceremony, ritualistic practice of preparing and serving tea.. 🍵💖 What an amazing & fascinating experience. Teacher spoke perfect English with humor, explained so well to understand & lead this experience became so memorable. After the Tea ceremony, everyone went to the picture room with beautiful kimono & umbrellas decorations, also outdoor garden areas to take pictures. What an AMAZING & FANTASTIC cultural learning experiences. 🇯🇵👘🍵💖💖💖 I highly recommend this experience with Tokyo Maikoya. 👍💖👍
