Kinross was named the best wine experience in New Zealand for 2024 by Qualmark NZ. This wine experience is for serious wine lovers who are keen to slow down and enjoy an in-depth immersion into the Central Otago wine world. Our internationally trained Wine Advisors will lead a journey into some of the hero varietals produced here, exploring different sub-regions, producers and the journey from vine to glass. Expect premium drops from our wine partners, as well as some small batch vintages, wine club exclusive wine and something special from our library. The tasting consists of a premium selection of red and white wines, including some Wine Club exclusive and library wines.

    Bailey took my wife and I on a fantastic journey around the central Otago boutique wineries. The wines from Gibbston, Wild Irishman and Valli especially were outstanding as was Bailey’s knowledge of the history of the local vineyards and the qualities of its wines. A first class customer experience delivered superbly by Bailey finished off with a delicious lunch in the Bistro with pizzas to die for!

    We were on a wine tour and stopped for a wine tasting and also had reservations for lunch. Plan your trip to Kinross to include lunch. We had 3 courses of phenomenal food, and attentive service. The lamb shank and market fish were outstanding for our mains. We also throughly enjoyed the summer salad.
