After we pick you up from your hotel in Kiruna, we will start to chase the northern lights that depends on each night according to the weather conditions. We can drive to Abisko, Kiruna’s boreal forest or wherever we can find clear sky to see Aurora Borealis.
Lights of Vikings have a really high success rate in finding clear sky which is one of the most important criteria to see the Northern Lights. Our concept is famous for driving long distances if necessary! Wherever we go during the tour, we will tell you many stories about the northern lights and Vikings.
After finding clear sky, we’ll admire the northern lights and we will take pictures which we’ll send to you within 3 days after the tour. If you bring your own camera, we will help you set it up to get the best shots.
As the northern lights dance in the sky we will serve hot drinks and make a camp fire for you to keep warm. After the northern lights tour, we will drive you back to Kiruna.

5.00We chose the three-night tour, and every single evening we saw the Northern Lights dancing above our heads. The Lights of Vikings team took care of everything and made our experience truly special. On the first night, the sky seemed completely overcast everywhere, but Robin kept driving for two hours—and in the end, we saw the Aurora! They also took some absolutely stunning photos of us. They even organized a beautiful campfire, where they explained all kinds of fascinating facts about the Northern Lights and offered us lingonberry tea, cookies, and chocolate. They genuinely care about their guests, making sure everyone is comfortable and warm by providing very warm thermal suits, so everyone can enjoy the beauty of the Aurora without suffering from the cold!

5.00We spent three wonderful evenings with Lights of Vikings. They truly went above and beyond to make each night special, and they managed to show us the beauty of the Northern Lights for three nights in a row. In addition, they offer a unique complimentary service by taking professional photos of all the participants during their tours. Robin, Iris, Laia and Onur accompanied and guided us through the magical world of the Northern Lights.

5.00We were only in Kiruna for one night, in hopes of seeing the aurora. Our guides were knowledgeable and we were lucky enough to achieve this goal! It was the most spectacular show. The pick up, photography, campfire, snacks, and informativeness of the overall tour was perfect. Would definitely recommend!

5.00I had a great experience seeing the Nothern lights. The guides are very motivated to give you a good experience and I appreciate the enthusiasm of the guide and the professionalism of the photographer. We were lucky and saw amazing lights. We were taken care of with a nice fire and clothing for warmth and the pictures afterwards (shared through dropbox) were amazing.

5.00Highly recommend this tour! We booked a 3-day Aurora Pass and didn't have much luck seeing the northern lights despite the guides' best efforts to make sure we see them. However, we got offered a fourth night free of charge and ended up seeing a very strong aurora that night. The guides were also very knowledgeable and friendly, making for fun nights even when aurora activity was low or the sky was cloudy. 10/10 experience in small groups and with no time or distance limit to the tour - we even drove as far as to Norway to see the aurora.

5.00Thanks to Onur and Iris we could see the most awesome northern lights!!! They advised us to change the night of doing the tour due to climate reasons and they were right. We went with them the following night and no to be able to see the best northern lights they drove us to Narvik we here the aurora borealis where amazingly beautiful, even dancing!! Iris took the most beautiful photos, was super polite and friendly, and Onur taught us about the basic principles of the phenomena we were seeing. Overall a 10 out of 10 tour with excellent guides and awesome experience.
