After we pick you up from your hotel in Kiruna, we will start to chase the northern lights that depends on each night according to the weather conditions. We can drive to Abisko, Kiruna’s boreal forest or wherever we can find clear sky to see Aurora Borealis.

Lights of Vikings have a really high success rate in finding clear sky which is one of the most important criteria to see the Northern Lights. Our concept is famous for driving long distances if necessary! Wherever we go during the tour, we will tell you many stories about the northern lights and Vikings.

After finding clear sky, we’ll admire the northern lights and we will take pictures which we’ll send to you within 3 days after the tour. If you bring your own camera, we will help you set it up to get the best shots.

As the northern lights dance in the sky we will serve hot drinks and make a camp fire for you to keep warm. After the northern lights tour, we will drive you back to Kiruna.

They will make sure thy do their best to find you the northern lights. You will travel far and pull over when there is an opportunity. Seeing the excitement in them shows they really care.

First, you can't see anything, only in the camera lens, according to the tour photographer took bad photos of me, while the other participants were great, I realized why we received all the photos, and on the other hand before starting the tour via whatssap, was extremely rude and unpolite when contacting to ask questions.

It was an amazing experience. I had been looking for that moment for so long and finally we saw the Northern Lights for a couple of hours with our eyes and it was unbelievable! Robin, our tour guide was very kind, caring and helpful. I really appreciate him. He made a warm cabin ready close to our spot and described everything about the Aurora.

We were incredibly lucky to experience a night of great activity so the show was amazing! As for the guides and the tour, everything was on time and as described. We went to a lakeside location not too far from Kiruna. Was a very cold night so wearing the suits offered was worthwhile! The fire and the snacks were fine for our trip. The explanations of what we were seeing and where were adequate. The pictures taken by the guides will serve as lasting memories. Recommendation this tour highly!

We had a really great time with light of vikings! We got a warm suit, they did a campfire and we got tea and chocolates. The Northern lights that night were awesome! We also got Information about the northern lights and the sami people. The photographer took amazing pictures of all of us which she sent us afterwards. So we could just enjoy the moment. I would definitely book my northern light tour with viking lights again!
