  I recently took a 3 hour private lesson, followed by a 2 hour lesson with instructor Renko. I am super satisfied with the whole experience. The learning pace was just right. The instructor felt perfectly how we could make rapid progress. He was constantly spot-on with his tips and feedback which made me go over the water very quickly with confidence. The Mood at the school is also great! everyone is relaxed and friendly and everything is well organized.

  Yes, these instructors understand how to teach you how to kite as quickly as possible. Just practice on the beach with Astrid, then get in the water and body drag. It took a few lessons to teach me how to wakeboard and how to kite. Luckily Arjan knew exactly how to explain this to me. Twan had the honor of learning how I came back to sail on the beach, strict where necessary, humor maximum! And yes, after the lesson a giga air over the boats and hoppa here again a satisfied kitesurfer! Already made the necessary meters without rescues! Knowledgeable staff, working to get you up on the water as quickly as possible!

  I booked lessons and a bike rental through the kite school before I arrive and had a great experience with both. The Manager, Jarne, was very responsive to any questions or issues and made the experience very easy. I took six lessons and the instructor (Stan) was great! He had lots of patience and was very helpful in every aspect of the lessons. By the end of my lessons in Bonaire, I was up on the board and kiting in both directions. I am definately motivated for more lessons at Bonaire Kiteschool next year. I also explored some of the mountain bike trails in the Hato area with bike I rented. The trails were not very well maintained, but the bike worked great.

  In October 2019 I learned to kitesurf in a week. Thanks to the patience and good guidance of 2 instructors, I had hours of fun on the water. In addition to kiting on the beautiful Bonaire, we greatly enjoyed the fun around the yellow bus. The team is very helpful and friendly and the drinks are cold. In short, highly recommended if you are on Bonaire and want to learn kitesurfing.

  I had 2 x 3hour lessons with Federico. I loved every second of it. I was kinda stressed that I wouldn’t know how to do it but Federico helped me step by step and made every part enjoyable. He was so knowledgeable about kiting that I literally trusted every word he said to me about kiting, what would work better and little things that would make my learning curve easier. I got a good vibe from the school right from the minute that I walked up to the yellow bus. I’ve never kite surfed or flown kites in my entire life but Federico got me on a board within my first 3 hours and starting to go upwind within my 2nd lesson. His passion for the sport was apparent and he got me excited to continue with the sport. With every mistake I made he could tell me exactly what I did wrong and how to improve or correct my mistake and demonstrated incredibly well. I wish I had more time in Bonaire cause I would have loved to do another lesson with him cause I am certain he would have had me progress! Oh and the best part. He got my first ever ride on a kiteboard on camera(a moment I would otherwise not have been able to capture) and then offered to send it to me. I loved that no matter how far into the sea we went he was always close by with the boat. I would definitely recommend this school and Federico. I couldn’t have asked for it to be any better!

  During our stay in Bonaire my friends and I took some kite lessons with Bonaire Kiteschool. It was all good vibes and happy faces 😄😄Best surroundings, people and atmosphere. The instructors were kind, professional and patient. All over a really good experience! We will definitely come back for more.

  My daughter tore her ACL as the result of poor instruction. The instructor pushed the pace of the lesson in an effort to get her up before she had a full understanding of the basics. After healing she went to a real kite school in Panama, when she came back she realized how poor her Bonaire instructor was. As an outfitter on Bonaire they are inconsiderate on the road toward bikers and other vehicles.

  Spent 3 days with kitesurfing lessons in bonaire. Instructors were patient and very knowledgable and all for of us (2 adults and 2 adult kids) got up and cruised around the bay. Joris van Trotsenburg was my personal instructor and he did a great job. Would certainly return to this outfit.
