Please note: This tour is not suitable for children under 5years old due to long travel times and the nature of the itinerary.

4.00Our tour guide Assem was absolutely wonderful. All the stops were good, however, I did feel the trip was too long and the rash driving by the driver made me sick.

5.00Kolsai Kaindy Lakes with Charyn Canyons Day Tour (lunch included). A very entertaining and worthwhile tour with spectacular scenery. The highlight of the this tour is the treck at Charyn Canyons, the bus ride in an old Soviet School Bus, lunch at a local home prepared by local Kazak. Our guide Beck is clearly very passionate about his job and very knowledgeable about the subject matter especially for someone so young. Note that this trip is a VERY long day (starts early morning 5am & ends around 10.30pm) and some of the hiking activities are quite challenging so make sure you bring suitable footwear and are in a reasonably healthy condition. The separate activities are well spaced out though with time for sensible toilet and food/coffee breaks and the minivan we went in was very comfortable with decent aircon. I would definitely use this tour operator again and can happily recommend Beck especially. He really made us all feel welcome and ensured we got to see everything worth seeing within the allotted time span. For those people who are pushed for time and who are energetic and outgoing this is a very worthwhile and excellent value for money trip. Highly recommended. Rephrase

5.00Not only the actual tour has beautiful sights to see, but our guide Bek took it to the next level! The pickup and dropoff is super convenient, the guide was always attentive, giving local tips and explaining historical and cultural contexts, and he was just overall so kind. In the transfer in Saty he even played some music for each of the participants' nationality to make us feel right at home! There is enough time to see everything in each stop and the Kazakh lunch was majestic. I seriously recommend it for anyone in Almaty looking to witness Kazakhstan landscapes and hospitality.
