Important note about the cycling. By default, bikes are mountain bikes (ebikes may be possible, subject to availability and at an extra cost). We highly recommend that you have a good level of fitness and cycling experience. You will cycle around 10kms which includes several hills. The route may include some unlevel surfaces and off-road terrain. Also, keep in mind it gets very hot on Korcula, especially from late June until the end of August, and you will be cycling in the sun. We would class the ride as moderate, but the hills and heat can be more of a challenge for novice riders. Although the ride is leisurely, we need to ensure you will be comfortable to complete the ride.

Prepare for one of the most memorable afternoons of your vacation! The Korcula Bike & Wine Tour provides a perfect mix of activity and enjoyment. We'll be waiting for you at Plokata square, by the circular metal monument (water fountain). We will help you get set up on bikes and fit helmets before we set off on our Bike & Wine Tour. Very Important: Before booking, please ensure you and all participants understand the cycling requirements. By default, this is a mountain bike tour. The route includes hills, gravel trails, and potentially hot weather, conditions that may be too challenging for novice riders. E-bikes are available for an additional cost but are not recommended for inexperienced cyclists. If anyone in your group prefers not to cycle, we can provide direct transfers to the wineries so they can meet the group there and enjoy the wine.
Lumbarda
Cycle through beautiful countryside and stone-walled paths with sweeping views of the sea and Lumbarda village. Along the way, we’ll pause to share insights into local life, wine traditions, and the agricultural heritage that makes this part of the island so special.

5.00My wife and I took the Bike & Wine Tour with John. It was one of the highlights of our trip. John was an incredible host, guiding us through beautiful grape vines and olive trees on the way from Korcula Old Town to Lumbarda. John was so knowledgeable about the wines, and the olive oil producing as well. He spent a great deal of time with our group and it was so much fun just being apart of this experience. There were incredible views of the ocean along the way and at the two local wineries where we sampled. Popic Winery also provided an amazing charcuterie board which went great with the wine. John thanks so much for the time you spent with us! It truly was a great day that we will never forget.

5.00We had a wonderful tour with Rachel. The cycling is more than just a saunter on the flat but it suited us perfectly and the bikes were great and made the cycling easy. The wineries were excellent and very generous with the tastings. It was an interesting and very enjoyable tour.

5.00We had an unbelievable experience with John. From the start, John made us feel comfortable with the bikes and how to operate them to maximize our comfort. The pace of the ride was great, and John made frequent stops (in shade) for us to catch our breath, drink water, and inform of us of the local area/culture. There are hills, which gave us a workout, but you should not have a problem using a lower gear. We went to two wineries, each with their own appeal and charm. We loved both of them, and were able to meet the winemaker at each. The second one was amazing. The food was delicious, and we never felt rushed, even though we stayed past our time. The conversation flowed and time was not important. John has a great life story and is an interesting guy to get to know. Highly recommend this tour for the views, workout, wine, and great conversation. Thank You John!

5.00What’s not to like? Lot of fun. Great hosts. John as our guide and Rachel communicated really well with us leading up to the tour. Very nice touch jn accommodating our earlier departure to make the last ferry back to Dubrovnik. Exceptionally nice touch in Rachel following up to ensure that we made our ferry okay in a storm that came up unexpectedly. Cycling through Mediterranean landscape with vineyards, olive groves, limestone walls. Mostly no cars with Occasional car traffic but kind drivers used to cycle traffic. Excellent hosts at the two vineyards and great company in fellow travelers. Great views at the two vineyard stops. Unique sea plus vineyard views experience

5.00This is a great trip which gets even better towards the end with the wine tasting. John was very informative and helpful. At one point forgot we were on a trip as it felt like being with friends tasting lovely wine, although this could have been down to the wine so appreciated the lift back directly to our hotel. Great fun!

5.00Fun afternoon biking in the area- about 6 miles - most of which was before the tasting. Visited two local wineries with amazing views of the local towns and sea. Tasted some nice wines specifically to this area! Second winery supplied delicious snacks with wine tasting. Shuttled back to meet up spot after tastings! Our guide John was great. Super fun tour - highly recommend !

5.00John was an amazing guide and host. He knew everything to do with Croatian wine. The bike ride was also beautiful riding through vineyards and seeing the views from the countryside.
