  I had booked the green tea tour, and since the weather was rainy on the actual day, Veronica rescheduled our tour to the next day with my agreement, which was great! Instead, we spontaneously went out to eat in Gwangju together, and Veronica gave me tips about Gwangju, thank you! The tour the following day was wonderfully planned, with lots of good information and delicious food. Veronica has a wonderful, warm personality; I would do the tour again and again.

• The Boseong Experience We Never Could Have Done Ourselves

  One of the best days of our entire two-week trip to South Korea! My husband and I had originally planned to visit the Boseong Green Tea Fields independently. After researching the logistics, we quickly realised that unless you’re renting a car, getting around the area can be quite challenging. Looking back, even if we’d managed it, we would have missed so many of the experiences that ended up making this day so special. Veronica was absolutely fantastic. Not only is she incredibly knowledgeable about Korean tea and the region, but she also took us to places and viewpoints we never would have discovered on our own. One particularly stunning viewpoint ended up being one of our favourite sights of the entire trip. A real highlight was meeting a local tea master and learning more about Korea’s tea culture. That experience alone made the tour worthwhile and gave us a much deeper appreciation for the area. What impressed me most was how thoughtful Veronica was throughout the day. I have a severe shellfish allergy, and she went out of her way to make sure I could eat safely. She found restaurants for both lunch and dinner that could accommodate my allergy, and for dinner she actually came into the restaurant with us, spoke directly with the staff, and stayed to ensure everything served was safe for me. That level of care meant so much and allowed me to relax and enjoy the experience without worrying. As if that wasn’t enough, she also surprised me with a thoughtful gift of Korean skincare and tea cookies I’d mentioned enjoying during the tea ceremony. The entire day felt incredibly personal, well organised, and genuinely special. It was worth every penny. If you’re considering visiting Boseong, I cannot recommend this tour highly enough. The tea fields themselves are beautiful, but Veronica’s local knowledge, connections, and kindness transformed what could have been a nice sightseeing trip into one of the most memorable days of our South Korea adventure.   I had an absolutely fantastic experience with Tasty Trails when I visited Gwangju earlier this month. Veronica organised everything perfectly and the places we visited were amazing. She was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure everyone felt comfortable and enjoyed the experience. The itinerary was thoughtful and well planned with a perfect balance of sightseeing and local culture. If you're looking for a tour guide who really cares about creating memorable experiences for her guests, I highly recommend Tasty Trails. I will definitely book again in the future!   I had the best day with Veronica, visiting tea fields, learning about Malcha and the unique history of Korean tea, while admiring landscapes that I would have never been able to see on my own. Veronica is very knowledgeable and can answer all your questions about tea and culture that you might have. She was even kind enough to help me get to the next destination of my trip, you feel how she is passionate about her job. I warmly recommend this beautiful experience and hope many join this tour.   My guide, Veronica, helped me beyond the guided tour to find solutions and solve transportation problems especially during my trip. She gave super clear information and explanations during the visit which is very comprehensive, rewarding and super pleasant. Many thanks to her and for the quality of the tour she offers!

  This was top three tour experiences I ever had! First and foremost, our tour guide Vicky went far beyond expectations. She had not only in depth knowledge of the tea industry, production and tasting but also being originally from Gwangju she shared historical and cultural knowldge. And finally the setting and scenery of that area is from a movie. I know I will be back to Gwangju. It was an amazing and memorable experience!

  I cannot recommend these tours highly enough. Your guide, Veronica, has done all the preparation and I’m sure that if you want her to she will do the tour exactly as advertised on the website. But she’ll also listen to what you want and see if there are particular things you’re interested in, and make adjustments to the itinerary accordingly. Being on a tour with Veronica was like being guided by an old friend, and the tea tour (bookended by the Boseong tea fields and the Baekundong garden, but with some serendipitous diversions in between) could not have been more perfect. Some great food choices too. I look forward to seeing what tours Veronica comes up with next, because I’ll almost certainly book myself on one.

  If you want an authentic tour in Korea this is the one to take! The scenery was some of the most beautiful areas I saw on my entire trip in Korea! Veronica the tour guide was amazing!She was informative, introduced us to an amazing dining experience and tea ceremony and talked to us about the area. I am a tea lover and learned so much during this tour while enjoying the absolutely amazing sights of the tea plantations and areas around the plantations and a variety of different teas. I wish we would have known about Veronica and her tours sooner so we could have booked her for other trips while we visited Korea since many of the other tours we took ended up being in areas created for tourists and did not offer an authentic korean experience. It was also great to do a private tour to figure out foods to try since the Korean menu is so different from our menu in the united states.
