5.00Benny was a superb host yesterday. His tour was unique as he tailored it to our emerging wishes as we went along. He conveyed his local knowledge, building a picture of the area and individual stops with enthusiasm. We were fascinated by the markets, enjoyed his recommendations in the restaurants and glad to have a few rest stops along the way. A lot of walking was fuelled by glorious local food and drinks from packed venues where Benny was able to walk us straight to tables. Although labelled as a night food tour, we went on an afternoon and had a wonderful time. No dinner needed after...just a contented sleep!

5.00My mom and I had an excellent tour with Dennis! He was super accommodating, friendly, fun, and knowledgeable about all the food we ate and the city!! We would highly recommend this experience with Dennis to any of our family or friends. If we are ever back in Hong Kong, we would book again!

5.00Our night tour with City Unscripted was the perfect way to start our visit to Hong Kong. We chose to stay in Kowloon to enjoy the street food and markets. Regene was a fabulous guide, and communications through the Viator app were easy and very timely.

5.00This was a great food tour where we got to taste several variations of street food. The tour was nicely tailored to our preferences. Our guide, Benny was nice and friendly and told us interesting facts about Hong Kong and the food scene. The tour involved quite a lot of walking so if that is not your thing (we enjoyed it) this may not be the right option for you.
So much better than a normal foodie tour….

5.00This was great. So much better than a normal foodie tour where you just walk from one eating place to another. Benny gave us a real local’s view on how the locals lived, ate and shopped - which we loved. Of course each of the places we stopped for food were excellent as well. Our only recommendation for others considering this tour: dont eat any lunch before you go….. We would strongly recommend this tour. Thanks for a great tour, Benny.

5.00We had the BEST time with Benny! We were only in Hong Kong for 36 hours, and in that time I feel that we were able to see a small glimpse into the REAL Hong Kong, beyond the tourist zones (which, to be fair, are also fabulous - HK is a terrific city and impressed us all around). We ate some incredible bites across many different neighborhoods while walking and talking about everything we were seeing. It is clear that Benny and City Unscripted truly love Hong Kong and want to share it with visitors. Benny reached out a week or so before our visit to confirm preferences and allergies, and made sure to follow up on our requests and specifics during the tour. He was so knowledgeable and fun, and again I cannot stress enough how much we loved our four hour tour, and the many steps we got in! If you do one thing in Hong Kong, let it be this!

5.00Fast paced tour covers a lot of ground…in a good way. A great mix of food, culture, history and a real variety of experiences ranging from a wonderful museum to a flower market, sound and light harbor display, bird market, various street food stalls and finally a sit down meal in a local restaurant which few tourists would ever know about. Alfred was extremely knowledgeable, energetic and friendly. Highly recommended!!

5.00We really enjoyed this tour with guide Benny, who was great. Lots of walking and exploration of Kowloon. The food was really good and we had sufficient breaks between stops so we didn’t get too full - though there was plenty of food. Although we had plenty of savoury items, there were a lot of sweet things too (4 sweet stops) - more than I expected. This is not a criticism, since i enjoyed them all, but it’s just something to be aware of. Of course the tour was private and is customisable but we wanted to just put ourselves completely in Benny’s hands and do what he suggested, and he did a great job. I particularly enjoyed trying some of the more unusual (by Western standards) local items like the bitter herbal tea and the fried pork intestines in the night market. Aside from the food this was also just a great way to get to know many areas of Kowloon on foot. We walked all the way from Sham Shui Po to Jordan (4 metro stops!) over the course of 3.5 hours
