Ghetto Wall Fragment
A significant remnant of Kraków's wartime history, this 12-meter stretch of the original ghetto wall serves as a poignant reminder of the suffering endured by its inhabitants during World War II. Marked by a commemorative plaque erected in 1983, the wall bears witness to the hardships faced by those who lived within its confines and the tragic fate that awaited many as they were transported to the death camps. The inscription, in both Hebrew and Polish, solemnly commemorates their lives and the atrocities committed by the German regime.

You can't visit Krakow without visiting Schindlers Factory, our guide was excellent, very knowledgeable and also pointed if things are not original or have been changed since the war. But as good as the Factory tour was, it didn't compare to the Ghetto walking tour which we had arranged to be part of the package, we luckily had the same guide and she was fantastic, highly recommended.
