No matter what time you choose, you will be gracefully picked up from and dropped back at your hotel at Arugam Bay showing you the best of the national park that covers a massive area of land of 35,664 hectares. A special feature here is that an area of about 200 hectares is allocated just for the sole purpose of bird watching during the months of May and June, where you could see several different species of birds that fly here to hibernate. This is also one of the reasons why exploring the Kuman National Park is one of the most popular activities amongst both local and foreign tourists to the area.

Kumana National Park (formerly Yala East) offers a much more intimate and tranquil safari experience than its busier neighbor. While Yala is famous for leopard density, Kumana wins on scenery and serenity.

Beautiful! We had an excellent half day. Lunch at a Panamanian woman's house (not a tourist restaurant!): a very nice meeting, and an excellent meal! Then the safari: buffaloes, crocodiles, elephants, deer, incredible birds and to top it all off 3 leopards!!! Not to mention breathtaking scenery.... Our guide was very friendly and very attentive to everything! He knew how to take us to the strategic points We met very few jeep (end of season maybe?) Thank you for a delicious day (No photos of leopards because not enough light for my phone😩)

Half day safari with Ravi was top! Have seen a leopard twice, Ravi knew exactly where the spots are. It was a lot of fun!

Shiham was the most incredible tour guide we could have asked for. We had the absolute best time and would recommend to everyone in the area to do it! The elephants were amazing and the sunset on the lagoon was breathtaking. Thank you shiham!

We had an excellent time in Kumana National Park with Arugambay Tours! A few days before we went to Yala block 1, but unfortunately we didn’t see any leopards. We took a gamble to try again at Kumana; our lovely guide, Manaf, knew how much we wanted to see a leopard and he made it into a mission, which paid off as we saw one at the very end thanks to his persistence! Other than the leopards, the park also has beautiful nature, especially the birds are very beautiful.

We were picked up from our hotel by Siham and were warmly welcomed. The guide was very helpful and responded to all our questions. All in all it was a very exciting and informative tour, we saw everything. From crocodiles to elephants, monkeys, buffaloes, birds, ... everything was there. Anytime again!!

The tour was done by Manaf, a very friendly gentleman! the experience was great. We saw practically every animal that can be expected. A leopard, bears, etc. Only thing is, if you're looking for a lot of elephants in August, they're not in this park. And you won't see many.

Manaf has made a great safari with us and has fully responded to our wishes. He knew many good places for the different animals. We were lucky and even saw a leopard, which was incredible!! So for a good tour ask for Manaf!!:)

Super safari in the park of Kumana on a human scale and with nice watering holes! Our guide Siham picked us up from the hotel early so he could be the first to open the park. He was very friendly, he gave us a lot of information about the animals and had an eye to spot them. He knew very well where to find the animals. He stopped on the way so we could take pictures. Thanks to him, we were able to observe elephants in the rice fields before our arrival in the park and an elephant inside the park, many birds, buffaloes, deer, crocodiles and especially the famous leopard! We were extremely lucky to be able to observe these animals and we thank our guide for this beautiful discovery and his knowledge of the park!
