Amazing free walking tour through Arashiyama Bamboo Forest! Nao was a fantastic guide — super friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about Kyoto’s history and culture. He shared great stories, local insights, and took us to spots we would have completely missed on our own. The pace was perfect and the whole experience felt relaxed and well organized. Definitely one of the highlights of my visit. it’s absolutely worth it!

My experience with Uta was amazing! She was so kind and even shared a shaved ice cream with us. She took her time to explain all the little details of Kyoto. As a group we couldn’t have asked for anyone better!

Uta picked me up from the station and communicated the evening before to ensure that I understood where to meet. As she lived in England, her English was very good. Besides her knowledge of the sites, we had a very open discussion on raising children and family/ work life balance. Her insights and sharing of experiences, added to my understanding of Japanese culture, modern and ancient. Thank you!
