  Momo is knowledgeable about the maiko and giesha culture. She was very thoughtful making sure everyone in our small group could hear and keep up with the walk. She even recommended some best restaurants to try and even helped us booked one. Thank you.

  It is an awesome tour, felt like hanging out with a local friend! My friend and I booked the Kyoto Gion Cultural Walk for the 10:30 AM slot, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! Since this is a new start-up, it’s the perfect choice if you want to support a small business and avoid the massive, overcrowded tour groups. No one else booked our time slot, so we actually ended up getting a "private" tour just for the two of us! Our guide, Momo, was top. We learned so much about Kyoto's history and Geisha culture. Since it was our first time in Japan, we asked a million random questions on the street, and Momo happily answered them all while keeping us safe in the busy crowds. Fun fact: Momo is a former chef, so we got some excellent food recommendations too! The pace was super relaxed. Momo even let us take a quick detour to a Totoro shop just because my friend was so excited. If you want a great, relaxing experience, highly recommend booking this!

  We had a great night walking with MOMOKO, her knowledge was fantastic but delivered in a fun and friendly way, she was very friendly and gave us lots of ideas for other activities that we could do while in Japan. She was a great guide and all the while training another guide who was also great . Thank you for a great time

  Amazing tour! Both Ben and Momo are so knowledgeable about their city. We learnt so much and had a blast. We booked the rest of our trips with them in Kyoto. They also both gave amazing local recommendations. P.S. they also have a great food tour !!

  Our guide Momo was fun and knowledgeable. Without this tour, we would have just been walking around. We also got to see a maiko. If I ever come back to Japan, I'd love to join her tour again and again. Thank you.

  Momo has very good command in English and that is a very big factor for us tourists. She has explained well her (Japanese) culture a d traditions. She was also very helpful in taking beautiful photos of us that will be of a great memory. I wish her luck in future tours.

  Another great tour with Ben - this time of Gion and Geisha area. His enthusiasm really shows and the whole experience just flowed so naturally from start to finish. He was great at finding little photo moments and navigating through the crowds in such a busy part of Gion. He pointed out so many small details I definitely wouldn’t have noticed on my own, which made the walk feel much more special. It honestly felt like exploring the area with great company on a one-to-one stroll. Loads of knowledge and expertise, and you can tell he genuinely enjoys what he does. Made the whole experience feel relaxed, personal, and memorable - highly recommend Ben for any guided experiences! 👏✨️
