Eric (Calle?) was an amazing tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about the local area and its history and his English was excellent. He was very personable and made us both feel at ease during the tour. He was excellent at answering our questions. We wish all tour guides were like Eric.

Eric (Kalle) was so knowledgeable! Such an interesting tour. It is A LOT of walking, great exercise, got to see the neighborhoods of Kyoto and all the hidden gems. Very cool! And ended with a fantastic view of Kyoto!

We had an informative and interesting tour away from the crowds. The tour guide was knowledgeable and very friendly. This somewhat unusual tour is definitely worth recommending.

The tour with Aron was really great, Discovering hidden part of Kyoto and its misteries. Very unusual tour for who wants to see a very different perspective!

we already went to the ghost tour and were excited about this one as well. VERY informative and cool locations we'd probably not would have seen otherwise. our guide Kalle was again very nice and patient with us. thanks for the nice tour!

We walked through the streets of Kyoto and stopped by at the shrines and temples which would normally go under the radar for most travelers. Our guide Z knew how to balance between comedy and drama despite most of the topics being dark and serious. Would do this again if given the chance.
