Tea ceremony & Kimono Rental This popular experience allows you to enjoy the essence of Kyoto’s traditional culture all at once. The kimono rental shop is located right next to the tea ceremony venue, so you can proceed directly to the experience without the need to travel after changing. Conveniently located just a 30-second walk from the “Kiyomizu-michi” bus stop. After the tea ceremony, you can continue wearing the kimono until 6:00 PM, perfect for exploring the charming streets of Kyoto. Highly recommended for those who want to fully enjoy both sightseeing and cultural experiences.

From the moment we arrived, the team made it feel personal. They helped us choose kimono's that spoke to our souls, dressed with care by the attendants, then sent us strolling through old cobbled Kyoto streets for far too many Instagram-worthy photos. Back inside, our ceremony Host, also the owner was THE HIGHLIGHT. His passion for culture, craft, and teaching how a TRUE tea ceremony is prepared and served is contagious. Afterward, he sat with us over a drink and chatted like an old friend. What we loved most? No conveyor-belt vibe. Small groups (2–4 people), unhurried pace, and space to ask questions. You feel seen, not processed. A once-in-a-lifetime experience I’ll be talking about for years.
