5.00We had an amazing time with our girls. Maria, our Mayan tour guide, was so accommodating and knowledgeable. My husband has a physical limitation walking and she was so kind to make sure he was okay and to get us tuktuks at the different stops. Our favorite part was the boat ride from town to town…lol please have motion sickness meds on hand if you’re not used to a high speed, choppy ride.

5.00This was a fabulous tour! Joel was a great guide, offering interesting information, sharing his own history, and being really patient with everyone. We brought along our 5 and 7 year old daughters, and though I was a little nervous about if they’d be able to handle all of the walking and listening to historical information, they had a blast: they loved getting to try different kinds of honey, learning how to spin cotton into thread, and try on traditional clothing specific to the Mayan people of Santiago. The boat rides were fun and not too bumpy. We were a bit surprised by having to pay extra for the jeep in our last town — it was 30Q per person—but other than that, no complaints!!
