We arrive at the Bay of Bones, where the guide will give you a tour of this unique museum. You’ll learn all about the history of this remarkable place. After walking around together, the guide will give you some free time to take photos.

We will sit down at a lovely beachside restaurant to enjoy a delicious coffee while taking in the beautiful view of the lake. After we finish our coffee, the guide will lead you through the village and show you how the locals live. Together, we’ll walk to a breathtaking viewpoint where you can take some stunning photos.

5.00What a wonderful tour Boat Trip Lake Ohrid. Tobias, our guide was great. As we drove to our destination he was a wealth of knowledge. Our first stop at the Bay of Bones, Tobias gave us an excellent history of the old huts. At The Monastery of Saint Naum, Tobias gave us an insight into the Saint. The rowing boat, to visit the largest springs that feed the lake, is a must but they only take cash. Then our lunch. It was a feast. Good food and wine. And there is more! We stopped at a private beach, which is only accessible by boat, where we were able to to swim and relax. Then back on the boat after a wonderful day. By the way, drinks flowed all day.

3.00Two different tours booked with this organization, the hike your to Prileb and the boat trip to Naum etc. Despite the somewhat "blunt" reactions via the app, otherwise a great organization. Tour through the mountains was pretty tough so don't be tempted by the guide and keep your own pace. Tip for the organization, keeps work and private (stops) separate. Tobias is highly recommended as Guide, quiet, good narrator and helpful.

5.00We did the boat trip on Lake Ohrid and it was a fun, unique experience. It was a beautiful way to explore the lake and see sights that would be hard to reach without a car. Meeting new people and the welcoming and joyful spirit of Vic was definitely something that made the experience unforgettable! Definitely worth the price :)

5.00Was a very relaxed day, with Viktor as a guide on board. Plenty of time to view everything at ease anywhere. Also the lunch /bbq was plenty, with choice of all kinds of drinks. We were mt small, nice company on board. In short: we enjoyed this beautiful day! Definitely recommended!

5.00We did a boat trip with Vik Experience in North Macedonia this afternoon and were really positively surprised. The guide was fluent in Dutch, English and Macedonian, which was very impressive. He showed genuine interest in all the participants and divided the people between two boats, always changing to explain in the right language. The tour was really complete: from pick-up to boarding everything was well arranged. We have seen several locations that you would not do so quickly yourself. There were plenty of drinks and also the food was excellently taken care of. At each location he gave clear information, joked and was very accessible for questions about North Macedonia. It felt very relaxed and personal. We were so excited that we immediately booked a second tour with him this time a wine tasting. In short: a very successful day and absolutely recommended!

5.00My partner and I (ages 27 and 30) booked three trips with Vik Experience, and our only regret is that we weren’t in Ohrid long enough to do more! The first was Walk & Dine at Sunset, with Anastasia as our guide. From start to finish, it was an incredible day exploring Ohrid and the surrounding hills, gaining local insights from Anastasia, who was just fantastic. The evening finished with a barbecue at sunset where we met Vik and others — amazing food, great company, and a truly special atmosphere. Our second trip was the Lake Ohrid Tour, which is an absolute must if you’re visiting Ohrid. This time, our guide was Tobias, who, like Anastasia, was brilliant throughout. We visited all the main landmarks and discovered hidden gems along the way. The whole day was filled with beautiful sights, delicious food, and great conversation. Our final excursion was Experience the Real Macedonia (Macedonian Evening) — my personal favourite. We left feeling deeply immersed in Macedonian culture: trying authentic dishes, enjoying live traditional music, and watching the sun set over the lake. It was unforgettable. Overall, the value we received across the three excursions was incredible. We’re so grateful to the couple we met on our first day in Macedonia who recommended Vik Experience — it was the best decision we made on our trip.
