  The tour started with a timely pickup and a short drive to the family farm. We were given warm clothing and introduced to the reindeers and allocated one each with a sledge. It was a lovely 40 odd minute ride through the forest with fascinating views in the snow. A quiet and meditative ride. On returning to the farm we fed the deer that had pulled us and then went in for some hot chocolate and cake... very yummy and welcome. A short question and answer session with the owner's daughter and then back for the return trip. A very well organised and professional set-up. Would highly recommend.

  It was a great experience! To our luck, it was very sunny so the reindeer ride was extra enjoyable. All the family members of the farm and all the rest of the employees were very sweet and helpful. After the ride, the hot chotolate/coffee and cake was just what we needed! And the q&a about the reindeers was very informative. We enjoyed the experience a lot!

  So thankful for extra winter clothes. They kept me cozy during the beautiful ride. Our host and hostess were very informative, teaching us about reindeer and Finnish history 😊

  Today’s adventure was proudly sponsored by a reindeer safari 🦌 We arrived at a local reindeer farm where the Sami family introduced us to the reindeers. After a few polite sniffs and “yes, you may admire us” looks, we climbed into the sleigh and set off for an adventure through the candy cane forest. This was definitely giving Christmas vibes! After an hour’s safari, we headed back to the farm, where we were allowed to feed the reindeers, this is when the reindeer suddenly remembered exactly who we were and why we mattered! Cold hands and toes soon followed, so we were rescued and invited into the Sami family’s home. There we got a fascinating talk about Sami culture, reindeer farming, and reindeer life in general, all while warming up with homemade cake and hot chocolate. All in all, an utterly magical experience and one of those days that will live in your memory forever.

  The driver picked us up and dropped us off at our location. We got a long Reindeer ride, a lot of information, we could feed the Reindeers and we got a hot drink and cake. Amazing!!

  Fantastic tour. Provided appropriate clothes given the -25 degree weather. Went on sleigh ride. After this cake and warm drinks and then a fabulous information session about the Sami people and reindeers.

  It was a great experience in a fairytale place surrounded by fully snow-covered trees and plants. The animals are very tame and also let humans feed them. Great organization and very nice staff. Thank you so much! 23.01.2026
