This tour already includes all the tickets and payment of taxes. Explore one of the most beautiful landscapes offered by the Yucatan Peninsula. We take a walk in the company of a certified guide through the paths through the pink pools, including access to the viewpoint.
Later we will visit Cancunito beach which is an impressive unspoilt beach described by many as one of the most beautiful in Yucatan.
Then you will get to know the Natural Park of the Río Lagartos Reserve through the boat tour, this area is inhabited by beautiful flamingos, crocodiles, eagles, seagulls and many other species of the region. You will visit an amazing beach to exfoliate your skin with clay.
At the end of the boat ride, it is time to relax and prepare for a delicious culinary experience, unique in Rio Lagartos in the Maleconcito restaurant.
The tour lasts 13 hours (7am to 8pm).
The tour takes place in both languages (Spanish and English).

Use sunscreen and mosquito repellent
Bring official identification if you are Mexican
In the van there is a cooler with ice to store the drinks you bring.

This is the first meeting point where we pick up travelers for this tour. Departure from here is punctual at 07:00 am (with a maximum tolerance time of 10 minutes). Later we go to the next meeting point which is the Santa Ana park and we finish at the third meeting point which is the Fiesta Americana hotel. Before leaving Mérida we stop at a store to buy water and snacks for the road. Once we have everyone on board and after making the stop at the store, we begin our journey to the first point of this incredible tour. The time to get to the first point, which is Las Coloradas, is 3 hours on the road, this is where these fascinating pink salt pools are located.
Las Coloradas
Here you take a walk in the company of a certified guide through the paths that cross the pink pools where you can enjoy a dream landscape and capture your best photos and videos. It already includes the entrance ticket to the park, environmental tax, access to the viewpoint and support with taking photos.

5.00We opted for the 12 hour salt mine and boat tour. Juan, our driver and tour guide ensured that we had a comfortable and safe trip. Los Coloradas is breathtaking. Martin Jr, our boat guide offered a once in a lifetime experience of petting a crocodile. He also located a flock of pink flamingos and from a short distance , we were able to watch these magnificent birds move through the water in synchronized fashion. Lunch was delicious and the beach was serene. We absolutely loved every minute of the tour.

5.00While the pink water of Las Coloradas (the brine shrimp in the salt production evaporation pools produce the vibrant colors, just as they do in the flamingos' plumage) is dramatic and the time on the beach at Cancuncito relaxing, the stars of this trip are the wildlife as you boat down the Rio Lagartos. The crocodiles and flamingos draw visitors to the area, but we encountered many other bird species as well--including ospreys, herons, and egrets. The guide/host from Viajes Colibri Yucatan Tours will work with site guides at Las Coloradas and in the river boats to provide excellent background information and help in identifying the species you encounter. Reaching the preserve from Merida requires 2-3 hours each way (depending upon traffic), but especially if you have even a little bit of "birdwatcher" in you it is worth it.

5.00What a beautiful place to visit and learn about the prized salt that is harvested at Las Coloradas The colors of the water are incredible! The boat ride around Rio Lagartos was also spectacular and our guide/driver Raul and Luis were fantastic. The tour was well worth it! Muchas gracias!

5.00Very nice trip, very attentive and friendly Saul and Paul. All super good. Very grateful. I advise protecting yourself from the sun, good hydration and wearing glasses. But mostly very good attitude.

5.00This excursion is not to be missed. The guides very friendly and fun. Able to answer all our questions. The beautiful places, we could see many species of fauna of the place. Exquisite food. The experience will be unforgettable. 1000% recommended. Our group was of different ages between 20 and 78 years old and was very pleasant for everyone.
