The seller of these tickets were a total scam artist and I never got my ticket so I had to buy another ticket at the door

We had a wonderful time learning how to make chocolate and acting like real chocolatiers. Would go back and do it all over again.

We traveled to Basel and caught a train to Zurich. Public transport was great, including the bus to the Lindt fsctory.....or should I say laboratory/museum. On the edge of Lake Zurich in quite a suburban area the factory is incredible. From start to finish it's amazing. We highly recommend, if only for the chocolate tasting 😋

Other reviewers have noted this is expensive compared to ticket prices 'on the door' - yes, it is, but it's a flexible ticket for any time of day, and I booked at the last minute, so for me was very convenient and I accept the higher price because of my own poor planning! The tour itself is self-guided, and you can point/click the guide box to listen to info in your chosen language. The first few rooms cover the history of chocolate and Lindt, which for me was quite dull, as really the goal is the tasting area - three chocolate fountains organised with disposable spoons, where you can just pump out chocolate and scoff it while it's still warm. You can spend as long as you like here, and I did. Next up, there are cylinders of stacked different flavoured bars, and the machines cut them up and drop out a square when you hold your hand underneath. Again, excellent, as you can just do this over and over, basically until you are sick of eating chocolate! The next room has photo booths where you can get a photo with Roger Federer and other equivalent nonsense, before going along a line of Lindor ball tubs and picking one of each flavour. Take a bag for this; I had checked mine in the lockers and had to awkwardly hold my chocolate haul in my sweater for the rest of the time. Next you cross a little bridge and can watch the production line from behind some glass. The final area has a novel 'game' where you scan your ticket and get another chocolate. For me the comedy here was watching how weirdly desperate people become for more freebies, despite having already gorged themselves at the chocolate fountains and dispensers and Lindor balls literally moments previously. Finally there is the shop, which is fine but no cheaper than any of the others in town, and tbh at time of writing (Feb26) much more expensive than just buying Lindor balls in Tesco back home.

I liked the story and the experience of being able to taste on the spoon the liquid chocolate but complicated to arrive , there was a need for UeR pq at the time of buying the ticket voces did not give the appropriate guidance and had many options
