  This was our first time visiting Nepal and couldn't have gone any better. How lucky were we to have booked this trek with Three Jewels Adventures! Lawudo trek was hard but with Amber (owner) and Pemba (guide) working every details of our trip, everything went so perfectly. They are the kindest people you will ever meet. Spending few nights at Lawudo Gompa was a privilege. To be able to sit inside of Lama Zopa Rinpoche's cave for a while, it made the time stop. The location was absolutely beautiful and the food offered was so fresh and delicious. Outside of our scheduled trek to Lawudo, I asked Amber to take us around in multiple holy sites in different cities. He took us to every single one and more. His knowledge of different religions and Nepal's history were unprecedented. I learned so much from him. Nepal is an amazing country. Yes, we saw Mt. Everest and Ama Dablam on our way to Lawudo, but without Amber and his team it would have been a little more difficult to realize all it's beauty on our own. I cannot thank them enough for taking such a great care of us. I will be asking Amber for details on my possible future trek! Thank you so much!

  Great trekking agency. I did Everest base camp and Kala Patthar via the Lawudo Gompa monastery and everything went very well. Lok came to pick me up from the airport. With Amber, they took the time to explain the trek itinerary to me and then, at my request, they checked if I had all the necessary equipment before departure. Then the communication with Amber was excellent. He answered all my questions. During the trek, I had Pemba who is a young guide, dedicated and very kind! He made the whole trek go as smoothly as possible for me. I also had a very nice porter. I have wonderful memories of this trek! It’s a difficult but unforgettable experience!   My son and I recently completed a trip with Three Jewels. While setting things up we had several major changes in our schedules and had to revise our plans. Amber worked with us on every detail and accommodated our changing schedule. This helpful attention to details continued with the incredible support of our guide, Nursang. He was there helping out every step of the way. And the beauty of the Himalayas and cultural diversity of Nepal were unsurpassed. This was the trip of a lifetime! Would recommend Three Jewels to anyone planning a trek in Nepal.

  A genuinely life altering, life affirming expedition to the beautiful remote and breathtaking Lawudo Gompa. The memory remains still fresh and open as the sky surrounding this magnificent place. There is a mystery to this place that stays with you long after your decent. Amber and his team were warm and friendly. Always two steps ahead of your needs and dependable in every way.   I did the 9 day guided trek in Everest region with three nights at Lawudo Gompa. It was an amazing experience and Amber and his team took care of everything from planning, itinerary, questions, etc. I knew nothing about Buddhism or mediation and the experience was still worthwhile. I learned a lot about myself through talking to the few other travelers and nuns on retreat there in discussions on meditation and buddhism. The Gompa is well off the beaten trek from Everest region in a beautiful location high in the mountains with great views. Accommodations are basic but comfortable. Food is amazing. I highly recommend this tour with Amber and his team for a potentially life changing experience!

  It is the 2nd time that I participated in a retreat trekking led by Three Jewels Adventures: the 1st in 2018 and just returned few weeks ago from a 2nd one. The level of attention we received from Amber, our expert guide and his wonderful supporting team was awesome. Amber always picked yummy restaurants while on the trek and was able to accommodate any requests, may it be for upgrades or suggestions for shopping or visits. All done with patience and genuine caring. A totally 5 stars experience.

  I would rate 10 stars if I could - every step of the way (literally) safety was the priority and our group was completely taken care of and supported. There were some weather issues with rain but Amber and his team handled it with diligence and where other treks had to cancel we made it to our destination with minimal disruption. I recommend highly for other trekkers especially anyone without experience as they will absolutely look after you!

  I cannot speak too highly of Amber and his wonderful team at Three Jewels Adventures. I am 67 and had never done a trek like this before. I was also getting over covid. I felt safe and looked after (discreetly) throughout the trek - such kindness from all the team, thank you!

  What a wonderful experience! Completed a trek to Lawudo Gompa as part of an organised fundraiser, with fantastic support from Amber and his team. Lawudo is a very special place to visit, well worth the effort to get there. Amber, the guides and porters were all kind and patient as they truly looked after us, catering to all the needs of our group and keeping the energy positive even when we experienced challenges. I highly recommend trekking with Three Jewels Adventures, their knowledge and expertise made the trek a success.
