Learn to surf at Noosa on the Sunshine Coast, one of Australia's most iconic surf destinations. With its warm waters and safe beaches, the conditions at Noosa are ideal for beginners. You'll learn to surf in waist deep water with fully qualified surf instructors who are also surf life savers. Soft beginner surf board and rash vests or wetsuit are included.

We meet at our trailer in the car park at Beach Access No 11 in Claude Batten Drive at Noosa Heads 15 minutes before the lesson begins. We provide a long sleeved rash/sun shirt (or wetsuit in winter) and select the correct size soft beginner surf board and then walk to the beach. We begin with a safety talk and some basic instruction on the beach and then catch our first few waves in waist deep water. We then return to the beach for more detailed instruction about how to stand up. We then spend the rest of the lesson in the water with the instructor assisting everyone to stand up.

5.00Awesome day on the waves. After a 30yr break, the best group to refresh my skills and learn a few tricks to make it easier for my old mechanics body to surf again. Great to be back on the waves. Definitely recommend a lesson with the go ride a wave crew at Noosa.

5.00Would highly recommend this - so much fun, best surf lesson my friend and I have done and so glad it was beginner friendly instructors were so kind and helpful, we both caught a few waves for the first time thanks to them teaching us the proper technique.

5.00Amazing experience. We went with multiple families staying at Elysium through their program with Go Ride a Wave. Enjoyed it so much we did an extra day ourselves directly. Really great team with CC and the guys, all were passionate about helping the young kids learn to surf, with an easy going fun style, great techniques and encouragement. Noosa is a perfect spot to learn. Our two young boys were stoked to learn to surf with the team and came home inspired surfers.

5.00Had a great time learning to surf with the children. We had 2 instructors in a group of 7, and gave plenty of coaching to the kids who were standing in no time. Would recommend going with Go Ride A Wave.
