Learn to surf at Noosa on the Sunshine Coast, one of Australia's most iconic surf destinations. With its warm waters and safe beaches, the conditions at Noosa are ideal for beginners. You'll learn to surf in waist deep water with fully qualified surf instructors who are also surf life savers. Soft beginner surf board and rash vests or wetsuit are included.

We meet at our trailer in the car park at Beach Access No 11 in Claude Batten Drive at Noosa Heads 15 minutes before the lesson begins. We provide a long sleeved rash/sun shirt (or wetsuit in winter) and select the correct size soft beginner surf board and then walk to the beach. We begin with a safety talk and some basic instruction on the beach and then catch our first few waves in waist deep water. We then return to the beach for more detailed instruction about how to stand up. We then spend the rest of the lesson in the water with the instructor assisting everyone to stand up.

2 Hour Surf Lesson: 2 Hour Group Surf Lesson for beginners. Includes long sleeve rashie or wetsuit, soft beginner surf board and 2 hours of instruction.

5.00I felt like a kid again. Waves weren't huge but I still had the best fun. Val our instructor was awesome. His instructions were great - very clear and easy to understand. He was also a funny guy! Would definitely recommend if you haven't done much surfing.

5.00The waves meant well to us. After a short instruction on the beach we went straight into the water. The two surf instructors showed us step by step in the water how to get on the board and helped us on the waves again and again. This is the best way to learn: practice again and again !

5.00Surf lesson with Val In Noosa was 10/10. The conditions were great and noosa makes for a lovely learning environment, but the instruction and encouragement from Val and the other instructors was great. There was a mix of adults and kids in the lesson with two instructors in the water with all of us. I never felt left alone or abandoned. And the instructors were great with the kids.

5.00Loved my first surfing experience with Reezie! It was technically a group lesson but I was the only one that had booked on which was great! He took the time to explain about the board, where to stand etc and then was v supportive during the actual surfing - really enjoyed it!

5.00Beautiful, friendly instructors. Preservation was done on the internet , simple , fast and efficient. The Noosa spot is great for taking surfing , I took lessons with my daughter who loved it .

5.00We had a private lesson with Felipe. First we got a safety inspection and he thought us the important things about the ocean such as rips. In the sea he first helped us to get the waves and after we all ride a wave he challenged us to do other more advanced things. All in all it was a very fun and instructive lesson. We would recommend.
