10.30am: Boat Ride to Lebam interior River

10.45am: Kayaking Start

1.00pm: End of Kayaking

1.10pm: Return back to Jetty and drive to fruit farm.

1.40pm: Drive back to hotel

2.00pm: Arrived back at hotel

We will pick you up from your hotel lobby within Desaru Coast and make a pleasant 15 mins drive to the nearby Lebam River. We embark on a local boat that will take you and the kayaks upstream of the Lebam River. Before long we reach the upper reaches of the Lebam River, it is here that our kayaking adventure begins. We quietly paddle along what is now a forest dominated by Mangrove Forest plants, here we are on the lookout for wild ducks, herons, and kingfishers that call Lebam River, home. After about 90 minutes of paddling, we rendezvous with the safety boat and take the return journey to Kuala Sungai Lebam. We will make a stop at the famous Desaru Fruit Farm Shop for a chance to purchase local freshly harvested fruits. Thereafter, we make the return road journey back to your hotel.

It’s a great experience to paddling rubber boats. Especially for only one boat float in the river. Alif introduced the ecosystem of the river carefully. I can feel Alif’s love for this land. He tried his best to share the story of the river with us. Although I was tired but it really worth. It’s a little bit pity that the boat was not so comfortable to sit for a long period of time. 非常難得的橡皮艇遊河體驗，尤其是寬闊的水面僅僅只有我們一艘橡皮艇。 Alif 懷著對這片土地的熱忱，熱情的介紹整個生態環境，雖然我們划的很累，但是非常值得。

Love the experience. It's our first time kayaking and our guide Alif was very patient with us and guide us while kayaking. Shared many facts abt the mangroves and it's inhabitants. We really enjoyed the activity. Thank you!

It was great to leave our resort and see more of Malaysia. We'd never seen mangrove trees before, and we enjoyed kayaking along the river and hearing about the alien-looking landscape from our friendly, knowledgeable guide. The tree roots are mesmerising and we saw some animals too -- wild dogs and monkeys -- plus an egret. We all enjoyed the gentle exercise while learning about something new. We also enjoyed riding some waves intentionally created by the big boat, plus being towed home. A fun morning out for our family of four (Mum, Dad and two older teens)! Recommend wearing sun lotion and insect repellent, and recommend the outing!

Huge thanks to our guide Abang Udin for bringing us through the lush canopy of mangroves, calm waters of Sungei Lebam, and educating us on the ecosystem and wildlife. It was a memorable experience and a must try activity when in Desaru! Our kayaking was smooth and easy for the kids and beginners like me. Thumbs up JungleWalla!

It was very good experience with English speaking leader who was really well educated about the environment we were exploring. We were with 2 kids 9 and 11yo, and there was no problem with them at all.

We have joined the Sungai Lebam River Cruise Tour. It is an eye opening trip to us. Our guide Udin is very knowledgeable and has shared a lot of information about birds and mangrove trees. The Cruise is very enjoyable and highly recommended to nature lovers.

It was a very pleasant trip- the weather was not great but both the guide and his assistant were great. Unfortunately we did not see much but it was a fun outing :) It was also nice to learn about the history of Desaru and its flora and fauna on the way. !

Udin is a super friendly and knowledgeable guide. He shared a lot about the importance of mangroves in the ecosystem and also about all the wildlife around here. We had a very enjoyable time just taking in the rather unspoiled beauty of the area. Highly recommend going with Jungle Walla for all their activities. This activity is also very beginner friendly.

Great experience, great fun! Enjoy the real up close with nature. Lunch was decent local seafood at firefly restaurant overlooking the river.
