Your adventure begins in the heart of Lecce’s old town, where we set off on e-bikes and follow peaceful countryside roads lined with vineyards, traditional masserias, and ancient olive groves.
Our first stop is at the Farmer house (Pantaleo). Here you will try Olive oil and wine while Pantaleo's wife serves us puglian snacks.
Next stop is Nardò, a charming baroque town where you’ll enjoy a relaxing coffee break. Try the famous caffè leccese—espresso over ice with almond syrup—and pasticciotto pastry.
From Nardò, we ride toward the shimmering Ionian Sea and reach the seaside village of Santa Maria al Bagno, whose crystal-clear waters offer the perfect chance for a refreshing swim.
We then continue cycling along the scenic coastline—mostly on dedicated bike paths—until we arrive in Gallipoli, known for its historic old town set on an island and surrounded by turquoise water.
From Gallipoli a private taxi (included) will take you back to your hotel in Lecce in about 35 minutes.

5.00I took my journey to another level with this tour. I love sports very much and cycling to another city passing through wonderful places is perfect! Special highlighted for our guide Thomas, super attentive, careful and told the story of each place we passed. As a guide he deserves maximum note. I just say it's super worth it, so I repeated the next day to another city.

5.00We had a wonderful e-bike tour, cycling through beautiful olive tree fields and along the stunning coastline — bellissima! Our guide, Tom, was fantastic: fluent in both English and Italian, very knowledgeable, and always made sure we felt safe and comfortable along the way. The tour was the perfect mix of relaxed biking, interesting stories and local insights. Highly recommended if you want to experience the beauty of Puglia in a fun and authentic way!

5.00My partner and I had this experience booked for us through our hotel, and it was a fantastic day! The team and especially our guide were great, and we had a full day biking through some wonderful places. I felt that we were able to see so much and we got a great feel for the area. Would definitely recommend!

5.00I joined this bike tour yesterday and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! The route was beautiful and varied, and I especially enjoyed the farm visit and the relaxing lunch break at a fish restaurant with delicious food. A special thanks to our guide Tom — he was friendly, knowledgeable, and very engaging throughout the entire tour. He made everyone feel comfortable and welcome. I can highly recommend this tour and also Pulia Bike Experience. Would definitely do it again!

5.00We had a spectacular day on the ride from Lecce to Gallipoli! Our guide Tom provided jut enough historical and cultural information to add context in the places we stopped. The stops were wonderful especially the farm stop to sample Olive Oil and wine. We would absolutely recommend this e-bike tour for anyone interested in getting a closer look at Puglia, its people, and the gorgeous landscape

5.00The entire experience was over and above any expectations…. Starting with Marco who is so welcoming friendly and lay back…. The bikes were high quality and very comfortable and easy to use …. Tom our guide was professional friendly and full of history and information. The farm visit was cafe stops along the way just added another speciality to the tour . A swim and lunch … of calamari fritti. It’s a must do …. Can highly recommend ..

5.00We had a fantastic e-bike tour yesterday with Tom from Puglia Bike Experience. We rode 35 miles through a few smaller towns and on back country roads. The route was great, made us feel safe, and avoided as much traffic as possible. Tom made us feel like we were riding with a wonderful local friend. We had great conversations along the way and he explained so much about the land, history, landmarks, farming, and more. We made a stop at a small family farm and tasted great locally produced wine. We also had some of the farm’s olive oil and tasty food! Aside from seeing the sights in the starting town of Lecce, we stopped for a snack in Nardo and then had a couple more breaks along the way. We had a superb seafood lunch in Santa Maria al Bagno and then made our way to Gallipoli where the bike tour ended. Really a great day! And Marco, the owner of Puglia Bike Experience, already feels like a new friend! He is great at communicating quickly on WhatsApp. The e-bikes were also top quality and a joy to ride. I’m not an expert rider and I used additional motor assist for much of the ride (no judgement, right?!?) It made the ride easy and fun! Five plus stars all around! This company should be called FANTASTIC Puglia Bike Experience!

5.00The best part of the day was our guide Marco. Great sense of humor, wonderful tour guide and the pace he set was perfect. The equipment was brand new and very comfortable. The stops along the way were special, especially the local farmer and his wife plus lunch along the coast. Overall, an excellent tour and great way to see that area of Puglia!

5.00What an amazing way to spend the day! Our ride with Marco and Tom was incredible! The scenery was beautiful as were all our stops along with way. The visit to the olive oil farm was very special indeed. Our lunch in Nardo was some of the best we’ve had in Puglia. Marco made the ride easy and fun and adapted it for the day and for the group. He is a fountain of knowledge about the area and an all around great guy. You cannot go wrong spending the day biking with Marco and Tom through this beautiful place.
