Tarpon Feeding Dock
The Tarpon Feeding stop is by far one of the highlights of the tour. We like to say, if you’re not fully awake yet, this is the stop that’s guaranteed to get your heart pumping! Tarpon are massive fish that can grow up to 8 feet long and weigh as much as 300 pounds. Feeding these leaping giants is an unforgettable experience you definitely don’t want to miss when visiting Caye Caulker.
Mesoamerican Reef (Belize Barrier Reef)
The Belize Barrier Reef is approximately 287 miles long. On a full-day tour from Caye Caulker, you’ll be exploring just a small portion of its magnificence. Our next stop is only 8 minutes away from Caye Caulker, where we’ll search 2 to 3 main areas of the reef for manatees. Once found, we’ll snorkel with them—of course—while maintaining a respectful distance and avoiding any touching or harassment of these majestic creatures. If we’re not lucky at first, we’ll continue to other stops and try again on our way back to Caye Caulker.

5.00Just loved our experience. First meeting our guide and then preparing for the tour with our excellent boat and taking us to the best places to feed the tarpon, then snorkel with the nurse sharks. At the Hol Chan learning about different fish we were seeing up close and the turtles we swam with. Our guide Al was great. We could not have asked for a better experience.

5.00It was so much fun! The guides were very nice and helpful, they made us enjoy the tour. We were only 7 in the boat, perfect number, all of us had his own space. We saw sharks, dolphins, tortoises and other sea life. Lunch was good as well.

5.00Such an awesome excursion! Al and Daniel with Black Hawk took great care of us! Fed the tarpon, swam with a manatee, saw a lobster, eel, many rays and tons of sharks! Boat was clean and lunch was great. Very professional and knowledgeable guides who grew up here on the island.

5.00My wife and I had an excellent day with Al and Daniel as our crew. In our 5-6 hour trip, we made 5 snorkel stops and several other stops (manatee watching, tarpon feeding) which the whole boat enjoyed. When my wife got seasick at one stop because of the choppiness, Daniel took great care of her, offered to bring her back to the boat, and when she declined, he took her camera and dove down to get some great photos. Highlight for me is that we saw a peaceful manatee swimming the depths. Highly recommend Blackhawk Tours, they also do spearfishing and manatee tours.

5.00We had a fantastic day on the water with Blackhawk tours. Al and Dan were both so fun, knowledgeable, kind, helpful - just perfect guides. We saw everything promised and more- their experience was obvious. My teenagers were openly raving about the trip and trying to decide what was their favorite part of the day- the manatees? The eagle rays? The sea turtles? The sharks? All of the above! 10 out of 10!

5.00We had a great experience with Captain John and Daniel! Great communication from beginning to end. These guys made sure we stayed safe and had a good time. We had the best time swimming with the sharks and feeding the tarpon. Ten stars!

5.00My friends and I had an amazing day snorkeling with Al and EJ! We swam with beautiful and interesting fish, large sea turtles, and a ton of sharks. Al and EJ were dedicated to making sure we had the best experience. They took us to several spots to make sure we could find and swim with the sharks. They carefully navigated us to avoid the rain. Al and EJ got in the water with us and dove down to highlight different fish to us. They were very knowledgeable about all the fish and the area. And they were super funny and fun. Everyone on our boat had a blast. Definitely book a tour with Blackhawk and ask to go out with Al and EJ.
