5.00This port is highly misunderstood. I heard people on the ship saying they had a boring time in CYPRUS. When I asked what they did, they answered they had just walked around the port town. Well, we had a marvelous time in Cyprus. We got to go to a vineyard with samples of their wines. We walked around an old medieval town and toured a monastery and ate delicious cheese bread. We drove through the beautiful mountains and took pictures of gorgeous scenery. We got to go in a fort that had been used by the Knights Templar, and the Knights of St. John. And we still had time to walk around the Port city a little bit before they took us back to the ship. It was a beautiful day. If you have a stop in Cyprus, you must do this tour. Hopefully you will get Mary for your tour guide. Not only is she beautiful, but she is very knowledgeable about everything Cyprus, including politics, agriculture, education, and, of course, the history.
