• Intrigue & Wine - No fuss - Excellent tour

  We went as a 3, mum dad and myself, this was part of a cruise port visit. The tour was fantastic, one of the best we've had. We booked this through Viator. Our tour guide Mary was very informative and spoke excellent English. She had something to say about every single area we went to throughout the whole tour. She was also helpful and considerate to our needs. At each stop she would make sure everyone was off the bus and make sure everyone knew where the WC was. This was super important for my parents wellbeing as they don't have amazing stamina these days. No-one was left behind and there was plenty of time at each stop to take in the sights. Our driver Vasilli was also excellent. He was there at the right location well in time. He gave us a kind exception to eat on the bus (as we had a mix up when trying to get lunch). Though this was a one off kindness. Expect to have lunch off the bus at one of the food places in Omodos. He also provided a water cooler with bottles of water to keep us all hydrated, free of charge. The tour itself was filled cultural and archaeological interest, and was an excellent highlight of some of the history of Cyprus. If you're even remotely interested in these, I'm sure you would enjoy it. There was also the wine tasting venue, some lovely wines, and we had plenty to try, with added information from the host. The wine is very reasonably priced if you wanted to buy your own after the taster! Finally it is worth saying we were dropped off with plenty of time to spare before the cruise ship left again. There was no panic and no fuss throughout. Thankyou again Mary & Vasilli!

  This was an amazing tour, it was a full day of touring. Water was provided so that was great. Wear comfortable shoes.

  We had a wonderful day with Mary and Vasilli. Mary was full of historical facts and modern day Cyprian life. We saw many amazing places.

  Our tour director, Mary, and our bus driver were fantastic!!@ Our best tour so far. Very smooth and right at the port with a sign and picture of our driver. Mary was so helpful and informative. Couldn't have been any better. Thank you, Spanos

• Best excursion in Limassol

  We booked the Traditional-Modern Cyprus tour with Spanos Buses many months in advance, rather than booking it through the cruise company. We were given a very warm welcome at Limassol harbour by the driver, Vasilis, and our guide, Thena. The tour was informative, varied, enjoyable and completely stress-free. You learn about history, agriculture and culture, whilst seeing beautiful scenery along the way and visiting lovely Omodos. In a single day, you see many places – but only the most beautiful and interesting ones – and all without having to worry about a thing. Ideal if you’re only spending one day in Limassol during your cruise holiday. Looking back, it was one of our best excursions of the entire cruise. I recommend this trip with Spanos Buses to anyone docking in Limassol – look no further; the organisation (from booking to the end) and the service are simply brilliant.   This tour was a great way to see Cyprus "in a nutshell". The tour guide was lovely and very knowledgeable, as she shared her love for her country with us in only a few hours. I would recommend this excursion to anyone stopping in Cyprus just for a day on a cruise ship.

  Our cruise ship did not stop at this port due to weather. The tour company was so nice and immediately refunded my money. I would definitely book with this tire group in the future.

  They were very professional and excellent communicators. Unfortunately, our ship was unable to make port because of severe weather. They refunded our money in a timely manner, and we very much look forward to touring with them on a future trip to Cyprus.

  Sadly, we were unable to experience this tour because the captain cancelled the port.. I will say that I did have some communication with Spanos Tours because of the uncertainty of the situation with the war that recently started. Spanos Tours answered my questions promptly. We were looking forward to our tour however the captain of the ship decided it was not safe to attempt docking in Limassol (due to weather conditions) and we continued on. I contacted Spanos Tours to advise him we would not be docking. Spanos Tours was very generous and has refunded the entire cost of the tour. If you are looking forward to our a tour in Limassol I can say that Spanos Tours was very easy to deal with and gave clear, concise information about the meeting point etc.
