Join us for a River Explorer Cruise aboard our world-famous Mersey Ferry. For just under an hour, you can sit back, relax and soak in the riverside scenery and landmarks that have put Liverpool on the map.

Our expert recorded commentary will make you feel right at home as you discover the things that make our city region so vibrant today. The cruise is a 'must do' as part of any visit to Liverpool.

Your ticket is valid at any time during the day that you have booked. The cruises depart every hour on the hour from Liverpool Pier Head Gerry Marsden Terminal (just arrive at least 20mins prior to departure to redeem your voucher)

Language translation sheets are available on request at the ferry terminal.

I feel its a Waste of time and waste of money its boring for fifty minutes. I would not recommeed it. Its 26 pounds.

I mean, not sure what the hype is. The boat was so incredibly rusty and in bad shape. The pictures shown are deceiving as this is not the boat that was facilitating the cruises. The cruise is basically going around in a circle with commentary. Didn't find it interesting or worth the money.

I was visiting Liverpool with my cousin who lives in Sydney, Australia. I insisted that we needed to do the ferry across the mersey as it's such an iconic thing to do when in Liverpool With it being November we didn't pre book just arrived at the terminal a couple of minutes early and got our tickets. We wanted to the full experience so sat outside at the front. Amazingly we got a perfect blue sky day for our journey. We saw all the sights and loved the commentary. A perfect thing to do when in Liverpool

Fabulous cruise taking in all the sights of the river Mersey and iconic Liverpool skyline. Well worth doing refreshments on board you can either sit inside or outside a great trip and experience

Well sun out the Mersey was calm. We got on and sat at the front which even with a cool breeze and the sun out, the radio come on the away we went. Up and different places were explained. Loved it.

While on a short break in Liverpool we were walking around the Albert Dock area and came across the ferry terminal,where we booked a 50 minute trip across the mersey, this goes on the hour and tickets are quite reasonable,when the ferry arrived it was not the brightly painted one it shows on the brochure but one which had seen better days,but was clean and comfortable and quite spacious and of course played the iconic "ferry cross the mersey "several times, well worth the cost.

Lovely way to experience the skyline of Liverpool whilst travelling along the Mersey,meeting friendly locals given you lots of information about the area and friendly staff and a great little cafe on board too,well worth the money

it was a really good tour of both liverpool and the wirral and they tell you stories about the past which i found really interesting. However, it was really cold in the winter (We went in october) so id suggest bringing a big coat and getting a hot chocolate from the on-boat shop.
