  We had a fantastic experience with Dingo as our guide. He was very knowledgeable, and his English was excellent. We really enjoyed the stories and the sites that we were shown along the tour.

  A very professional, well organized and respectful tour, The memorial was memorable and thoughtful. Dingo had very extensive understanding of the area. A must do for those genuinely untested in history.

  I will begin by saying that my review was originally and still is 4/5. I have now changed my review score due to guilt from many messages from the guide personally on WhatsApp and I do not want to get a man fired or payed less because of my criticism of his company and a rating on an app. My criticism lies with the advertising and price for what you get from SG Tours. I am still confused whether this was meant to be a private tour or with other people. I ended up being alone but I assumed that was because no one else booked that day - the listing does not mention it being ‘private’. The price of the tour left me wondering if I'd just done a little more research, had some of my own maps of the Nui Dat base and a rental scooter I may have had a cheaper and more lengthy experience (minus the guide’s in-depth knowledge). This is no criticism to the guide’s tour just personal budget concerns as a backpacker. The Tour itself: l enjoyed my time with Dingo on this tour and he did have great English as other reviews mention. To me it came across that he has great interest in the battle as well as the Australian Veterans he'd met that fought at the location. I appreciated the service at both the Long Tan Cross and more accurate battle location. If you have the money go for it. If you’re on a budget maybe consider going yourself although you’ll miss out on great knowledge from the guide. If you leave an honest review, even if it critiques the company, don’t be surprised when you are harassed on WhatsApp by the guide personally about ruining their reputation.

  Dingo was fantastic with both knowledge of the Australian time spent here during the Vietnam War and his English speaking abilities was great. He played music to set the atmosphere before and during the tour.

  Dingo was a great guide. Very knowledgeable of the area. He shows real respect for the area and the soldiers that fought and died on both sides. Great english and I would happily so again!

  Dingo and Chien did a great job with the tour. Pretty informative and reviews a lot of the history of the area and the battle of Long Tan. I will say, a lot of the area has been turned into small residential area so some of the areas like the airstrip and Nui Dat hill are there to enjoy in memory. Chien gives a lot of reading material and photos for you to go through as you drive around which is nice to learn through that as well. Overall a nice tour and worth to see the area plus the drive from HCMC.

  Dingo was a knowledgeable Tour Guide who explained each site we visited. The two war memorial sites were humbling. We were provided with red roses to lay at each site. Dingo took photos of us and provided fresh fruit and a delicious meal. Highly recommend Dingo and his driver.

  Dingo tour guide today, knowledge of Battle of Long and Nui Dat Army bases good. Memorial service with red roses and Australian flag was memorable. Thank you Dingo, highly recommended.

  Very interesting tour with our tour guide Hill Billy Jack. Jack had put much effort in researching the history of the area. Used photos to show what it would have looked like in War Time.
