  Our tour guide HillBilly Jack picked us up as per the schedule. We had a drive out to Nui Day where our guide provided us with some fantastic background on the day ahead. Onsite and HillBilly Jack was fantastic with his knowledge of the site and was very respectful at the 2 memorial locations. We had a fantastic day and full points to our Guide - he is highly recommended

  Tour guide Kim was excellent explaing the history. Very moving experience. Most evidence of the occupation has gone but the tour guides A4 photos showed the reality of what happened here.

  We went on this tour with Hillbilly Jack and he was incredibly well prepared and gave us a wealth of knowledge and information about this subject of the Australian and New Zealand Armies during their stay in Niu Dat. We also paid our respects at the Long Tan memorial. It was a very good and informative day that ended with lunch and a drive back to HoChi Minh. Highly recommend tour with Jack.

  My daughters and I were very fortunate to have Vinh as our tour guide on this visit to Nui Dat and Long Tan. His historical knowledge and insight added to our experience. A highlight of the day was the brief memorial service Vinh had prepared, incorporating incense and floral tributes and the national anthems of Vietnam and Australia. Being in such a peaceful place surrounded by rubber plantations highlighted the contrast of the horror and loss of the American war. Thank you Vinh for making our visit so meaningful.

• Iconic Long Tan tour in Aussie military history

  We were a group of 3 with an interest in Australian military history who had high expectation for this tour to the Long Tan memorial. Our guide Colbie did a great job guiding us around this iconic battlefield, including walking us through VC tunnels, pointing out landmarks & providing lots of information about what happened on the day. She was able to give perspectives from both sides of the war which was interesting & thought provoking. She helped make the day very special.

  Today, Colbie took my family and I to the Long Tan and Nui Day battlefields. On the way, we stopped at a local market where Colbie showed us around the different stalls. Whilst there we bought some delicious lady finger bananas and also some flowers to lay a floral tribute at the 2 memorial areas. Colbie was so friendly and extremely knowledgeable, explaining to us what the war meant to Vietnam. We also explored the local tunnel system, which was fantastic and a real eye opener! On the way home we stopped for a delicious lunch at a beautiful local restaurant.   Our tour was an incredibly moving experience. Our tour guide, Vinh, was very knowledgeable and shared a lot with us. The most touching part of the trip was the ceremony that Vinh prepared at the Long Tan memorial. Vinh was exceptionally respectful and the ceremony was an emotional experience that gave us the opportunity to remember both Australian and Vietnamese lives who were lost during the war.
