Your driver guide will pick you up at 9:00 am or at a time of your choice from the lobby of your hotel, Guilin Railway Station, Guilin Airport, Guilin city center, or any other designated location.
Longji Rice Terraces
It takes about a 2-hour drive from Guilin to the parking area of Longji Rice Terraces. Longji Rice Terraces is divided into three main sections: Ancient Zhuang Village Rice Terraces, Ping'an Rice Terraces, and Dazhai Rice Terraces. Today, we will explore two of these areas—Ancient Zhuang Village Rice Terraces and Ping'an Rice Terraces—giving you the opportunity to experience as much of the rice terraces as possible during this day tour. The Zhuang Village Rice Terraces, considered the origin of the Longji terraced fields, is a less-visited, off-the-beaten-path destination. Ping'an Rice Terraces is renowned for its stunning beauty, Along the trail, you’ll enjoy breathtaking views of rice paddies, ancient villages, bamboo groves, and passion fruit gardens as we make our way to Ping'an Rice Terraces. When we reach the famous "Seven Stars with Moon" viewing point at Ping'an, we’ll stop for photos. After taking in the magnificent scenery, we’ll find a nice spot to enjoy lunch.

5.00We had an absolutely unforgettable day with Leo. From 8:10 am until 10:30 pm, he was by our side with incredible energy and kindness. His perfect English, his knowledge of rice terraces (from agricultural production to local traditions) and the surrounding flora, allowed us to understand and feel the magic of this place. Always patient for photo and video breaks, smiling and listening, Leo offered us much more than just a visit: a real trip to the heart of local culture. After enjoying the traditional rice cooked in bamboo, he took us back to Guilin and, at 8.30pm on a Sunday night, he took us to a massage parlour again so that we could finish the day relaxing. This level of dedication is rare. More than a guide, Leo is a true ambassador of his region, and I can only warmly recommend his private tour to anyone who wants to live an authentic and memorable experience.

5.00Leo was a great guide and we really enjoyed the full day tour! Rice terrace and the long-hair village are both wonderful, I really suggest to book this tour from Guilin!!! Leo was really kind, he also took us to see the hair products factory in the village and once the tour was over, before dropping us off at the hotel, he took us to see the famous pagodas of Guilin, which was really much appreciated!
A wonderful day out! Made it through the clouds, the guide very knowledgeable, kind, good English and a safe driver.

5.00My day of hiking with Leo left me unforgettable memories! The beauty of Longji rice terraces is mesmerizing, with the terraces winding around and between the mountains. And it’s a great place to hike! Leo knows very well all the hiking routes and went above and beyond to make my day perfect. Plus he speaks very good English. Definitely recommended!
