Turtle Release Tour is a wildlife conservation program that is operated by Rancho Carisuva for more than 5 years in which you can adopt a baby turtle and help release it into the ocean.

You will not only help in the preservation of the species, but you will also learn about the turtles and their habitat guided by a certified Marine Biologist. Watch as the turtles start a new life in the ocean after being liberated from their nests, and take pride in the fact that you helped them do it.

This is one of the most fascinating experiences you will experience in Cabo!

Playa Migrino

From July to September in Cabo, Olive Ridley and Black Turtles come to shore to lay their eggs deep in the sand before returning back to sea. The baby turtles hatch about 45 days later, but during this time we protect the nest and take care of the eggs. Our job is to raise the percentage of survival as much as possible. The tour is guided by a marine biologist which brings a fun, educational learning experience where you take part in the release of these baby turtles back into nature.

Great experience! Spent the extra to do a private release, while the tour is still a group tour, the private allows you to release more turtles away from the larger group. My son and I loved it and according to him it was magical. They sell pizza and merch at the end so bring cash, pizza was $4 a slice and hoodies were $35. Can’t wait to do it again!

This is one of the best experiences that I’ve ever had in any trip, something I’ll remember for the rest of my life. Patricio, the marine biologist, was very knowledgeable and funny, and we learned a lot about sea turtles from him

our turtles didn't hatch on the day we were supposed to go on the activity so the company offered us an alternative activity like horseback riding or an ATV adventure. unfortunately the times didn't fit our schedule so we had to decline all together. but i wanted to leave a review regardless. i am thankful to the company for reaching out and at least trying to make it right with us on the day of the activity, and nature being nature you really can't control when these turtles will actually hatch. we will surely try for the activity the next time we are in town and maybe we'll schedule it with enough time in our stay in case the hatch gets delayed! they gave us a full refund promptly and i completely appreciate that.

Absolutely loved this! It was the highlight of our trip. Patricio, the marine biologist, gave a very informative talk on turtles and then we hiked to the beach to release the turtles. We lined up with bowls in which our turtle babies were placed and then released them on the beach and watched them make it to the sea. It was great to see our college kids absolutely entranced. The whole experience takes about 90 mins (outside of drive time). Highly recommend!

The turtle release was a top notch experience. The communication with the booking end was a 1 or 2. They never responded to my emails. They said to bring a towel and closed shoes, not sure why. The confirmation implied we needed to book our own transportation even though the website says they provide transportation. They never asked where we were staying. A phone call confirmed they provide transportation. They said they would let me know on the morning of the tour. No email arrived. Called again. I wanted to see if I could add two more reservations. They said it was sold out. I asked how many were on the tour. They replied 32 even though the maximum is 20. Our reservation was for 18 people. They could have had 2 more fees. We were the only people on the tour. They sent a 16 person van for our party of 18. Once again the turtle release tour itself was 5 stars.

Everybody should do this at least once. Very Informative experience and amazing watching the baby turtles make their way to the ocean. My daughter was so excited to experience this.

Worth every penny, especially to upgrade to the private experience. Can't say enough positive things about this experience! Our kids absolutely loved it
