At the pier, begin a 2-hour boat ride through the Los Haitises National Park.

Afterward, continue the boat ride visiting the La Arena Cave and La Línea Cave, two remarkable grottos adorned with paintings and petroglyphs from indigenous civilizations. After exploring these caverns, return to the boat and start the journey back to the Caño Hondo pier.

Once you arrive, head back to the Hotel Caño Hondo, where you can rest and enjoy a delicious Criollan lunch. The menu includes green salad, potato salad(small, seasoned fish fillets, breaded and fried), chicharrón de pollo (chicken cracklings), pasta, white rice, string beans, moro de gandules con coco (traditional Dominican dish of rice, beans, and coconut milk), and a sweet coconut treat for dessert.
