Want to experience Lucerne like a local?
Join us in a beautiful Walking Tour as we visit world-famous sights such as the Chapel Bridge with the Water Tower. Enjoy gorgeous views along the walk of the river and lake Lucerne. On the tour you will learn important and humorous facts about the history of Lucerne and the everyday life of its residents. You will discover hidden alleys, visit town squares and even catch a glimpse of the city's "crown, " the old city wall. A visit to the Lion monument is also included!
As an optional Tour Extension you can either visit the Glacier Garden in a self guided tour or the Swiss Chocolate Adventure at the Transport Museum with an audio guide in several languages and a basic chocolate tasting. Your guide will provide all info and tickets for the tour extension. We begin with the walking tour and afterwards the tour extension chocolate or Glacier museum.

5.00Isabella was knowledgeable, friendly and happy to answer anything we asked. The tour was 2 hours and ran the whole time. We didn’t do the optional chocolate part but wished we did. I will say this is not for anyone who can’t go up and down stairs and hills.

5.00It's so worth it! The tour took place as i was the only customer (low season end of November). So it turned into an exclusive tour of lovely Luzern! We started von Torbogen Luzern then taken our way down onto the Reuss. Numerous details, historical, scientifical & cultural facts (all spiced up with old photographs) to the pathway covered: the churched, the Wooden Bridge with it's significance and troubled history. We continued our walk through the city with a lot of infos on local restaurants & places of interest, shopping. We landen on panorama points on the defence wall and explore it in promising weather of sun and coming snow. Enriched by stories of medieval history & behaviour and listening to the breath of the dragon whispers coming from Pilatus . It was an exciting journey, brilliantly guided tour into past, present, culture & civilisation of Luzern. I would recommend to my best friend. It made my visit here very special.

2.00Isabella was a fine tour guide to see the city on foot including even the city walls. Only issue I have is that the tour was 2 hours late as I, a solo traveler, had to be grouped with next tour (of only two people mind you) with only a 20 minutes notice…as such, would *highly* not recommend to any single travelers looking for a tour of the city as you will be at the mercy of the guide company on when they will honor your purchase.

5.00The tour started 30 minutes late. We did appreciate the fact that we were contacted! They stated that our guide would have a black jacket and a blue back-pack! Lol. Many people match that criteria! It would have helped, it they said a light blue back pack! We feel the tour guides of viator should have a flag to identify the tour. This would help immensely! Anyway, Isabella was great! She was easy to understand, and she accomplished our expectations! Thanks Isabella
