• Confusing tour but overall good

  The communication could be better beforehand with the tour company. I had emailed them through the app before I left for my trip just for some questions and never heard back. I also called with no luck. About an hour and a half before the start time of the tour I finally got a text with a waiver as well as specific instructions of what to bring which included socks for the rainforest tour! I was confused because the description of the tour did not mention anything about touring the rainforest. I text them back explaining this and purchased some socks really quickly, although I did not really want to go to the rainforest. They were apologetic about not getting back to me. Fast forward to getting on the bus. There were tourists already on the bus when they picked me up so I was confused again and finally after talking to one of them they explained they signed up for a 3 in 1 tour: walking through Old San Juan, the rainforest and then Luquillo last. I'm not sure why the company did not realize this but the tour guide ended up dropping me off right to the beach then continued the tour at the rainforest and we met back up at the beach later to all ride back together. Other than that, it wasnt really a tour for me, basically just a cheaper ride to the beach than Uber but Luquillo beach is really beautiful. The water is calmer than the ocean near SJ so I was able to really enjoy the water. Its a beach town so it doesnt feel stuffy or touristy. The kiosks are cool and mostly sell the same things. All in all a good trip, however, make sure your tour guide knows you signed up for the beach only tour.

  Amazing . Britney was amazing and we had the best time at the beach and rainforest . Super fun and we got to get great food.

  First off we booked a PRIVATE tour for just me and a friend for pick up at 1030am. On the day of the tour we get a call at 6am asking all these questions about the tour how many etc. The person on the phone mentioned we would meet him as he is the one doing the tour at 9am. I had to correct him and let him know the tour was for 1030am. As we are waiting to be picked up a regular car with 2 guys in it pulls up and says my name. Now it is me and another female going on this tour. So of course we were a little hesitant to get in as we didn’t expect 2 guys to be in the car. We were not aware of 2 tour guides. This made us feel a lil uncomfortable and we almost didn’t get in the car. (Wish we didn’t) The driver is explaining to us it’s his day off and they called him to come in. I should’ve took that as another sign. We get to luquillo and he says “you have my number I’ll be around call me when you’re ready to leave” a couple hours in we’re ready to leave. We call the tour guide and no answer , no response to text nothing. We were left stranded at luquillo for 2 hours. Had we not paid for door to door service we would’ve just left in a uber. Nelson tried to help I would give him that. He found us another driver to come get us, so I appreciate that. Overalll the whole experience was just unprofessional and unpleasant.

  It was amazing! Nelson was the greatest tour guide ever! Luquillo beach was so cool and relaxing! We really enjoyed it

  We were right at home during this event. Nelson brought chairs, a speaker etc which was great since we flew in on vacation and did not have all those things. The beach was beautiful and calm to swim in and the kiosks food was delicious. A great way to explore and have a drink safely away from SJ. Highly recommend

  Nelson was the most exciting, spontaneous and informative tour guide. Nelson was so accommodating, he made sure we would want to come back and visit San Juan again. Not only was he an excellent tour guide ,but he went out his way to make sure and celebrate the birthdays in our group by purchasing a cake.   Today was an amazing experience. Nelson was a great guide. Full of life, love & good energy. He truly made the day an enjoyable experience. We enjoyed the smooth ride, the waterfalls, we made several stops on the way to the rainforest which made the trip quicker. Definitely book with Nelson you will have a great time.

  A great experience that allowed our group to see more of Puerto Rico and one of their best beaches to unwind after seeing the Yunque rainforest. Nelson was fun and attentive to the group, and we left feeling like family. Just remember you get a taste of island time, as some moments are hard to say goodbye to.
