One of our most popular tours: Luxemburg is certainly a modern and vibrant city with a rich history and impressive ancient and contemporary architecture. In the old part of Luxembourg, our guide will take you to the cathedral, the Palace of the Grand Duke and the Place d’Armes. In downtown Luxembourg you will enjoy a spectacular view of the Kirchberg district, home to several European institutions. In the valley, you will be able to see a trail of the Casemates, the abbey of Neumünster, the city walls and the picturesque sites along the river Alzette.

After some free time in the city, you will explore the quaint town of Dinant, with its fifteenth century collegial church and its impressive citadel. Dinant’s name originates from the Celtic “Divo Nanto”, which means “Sacred Valley”. This little town is dramatically perched on the narrow banks of the River MeuseI. This is the cradle of the Leffe beer and the birth place of Adolphe Sax, the inventor of the saxophone.

Grand Ducal Palacea

You'll pass by the Grand Ducal Palace, the official residence of the grand duke of Luxembourg, and where he performs most of his duties as head of state of the Grand Duchy. Old part of Renaissance (1572), middle part (1741) of Baroque and Renaissance styles and right the Chamber of Deputies (1858).

Did this tour a couple of weeks ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our tour guide Andrea and our bus driver Sadat were absolutely fantastic throughout and it was amazing to see Luxembourg and Dinant and learn about their very storied history. A fantastic day out for a solo traveller.

Nothing to complain about. A quick whistle stop tour of Luxembourg and Dinant. Considering the distance and all the construction related traffic it does take about 12 hours. The guide was very good and gave a lot of information about so many different things.

I had a great time visiting Luxembourg and Dinant. Veronica was a fantastic guide and had so much information to share. Both were places I might have missed out on if it had not been for this tour.

This is a long, but enjoyable day. The bus ride to Luxembourg is about 3 hours (broken up with a coffee stop). The walking tour of the city was nice, and we had a good amount of free time. Dinant is small but breaks up the drive back nicely.

Good guide and excellent driver. Was a bilingual tour so a lot of it in Spanish that I couldn't follow, but the English version kept us engaged.
