One of our most popular tours: Luxemburg is certainly a modern and vibrant city with a rich history and impressive ancient and contemporary architecture. In the old part of Luxembourg, our guide will take you to the cathedral, the Palace of the Grand Duke and the Place d’Armes. In downtown Luxembourg you will enjoy a spectacular view of the Kirchberg district, home to several European institutions. In the valley, you will be able to see a trail of the Casemates, the abbey of Neumünster, the city walls and the picturesque sites along the river Alzette.

After some free time in the city, you will explore the quaint town of Dinant, with its fifteenth century collegial church and its impressive citadel. Dinant’s name originates from the Celtic “Divo Nanto”, which means “Sacred Valley”. This little town is dramatically perched on the narrow banks of the River MeuseI. This is the cradle of the Leffe beer and the birth place of Adolphe Sax, the inventor of the saxophone.

Grand Ducal Palacea

You'll pass by the Grand Ducal Palace, the official residence of the grand duke of Luxembourg, and where he performs most of his duties as head of state of the Grand Duchy. Old part of Renaissance (1572), middle part (1741) of Baroque and Renaissance styles and right the Chamber of Deputies (1858).

It was very well organized trip, the tour guide Arienne and the driver Bernard were great. Arienne shared a lot of useful information and nice food recommendations. We also had good break time to explore the cities.

Started off terrible since Viator had the wrong itinerary listed for our day. The tour operator Keolis had the hardest seats and cramped bus for a 3 hour drive. The driver was excellent- the tour guide aweful. Think her name was Andrian ? Her English was not great and her attitude sucked when I questioned her about the difference in itinerary- she quickly said I can get off the bus now before we leave brussels if I am not happy. She also insisted that we carry the headphones around after we were finished in Luxembourg walk tour while she could have easily taken them from the group because we didn't need them. I have done lots of tours and the tour guide always tries to make it easy on the customer- not her. She had a bag that she could have easily took the responsibility away from us for lugging them around Luxembourg for 3 hours after the tour was done. Then we get on the bus and she says we will stop at a gas station for toliets since it's a 3 hour drive- nit warning ahead of time so we could get the change needed for the toliets regardless of the fact that credit card can be used but the least you swip your card the less change of fraud. The bus driver was wonderful cant recall name think it started with G. This tour was Brussels to Luxembourg and Dinant.

A very well planned day. We saw so many incredible things with appropriate time to have lunch or shop. The guide (Andrea) and driver (Phillip) were both wonderful. I highly recommend this tour.

That Luxembourg and Dinan are beautiful places and that the staff (guide and driver) were extremely professional and attentive.
Guided bus tour

It was a whole day 12 hour guided bus tour to Dinant & Luxembourg. The bus was very comfortable with only about 22 or so travellers & we left Brussels on time . Ariane our Chilean guide gave us interesting information on the bus & whilst walking around Dinant & Luxembourg. Dinant is a small town full of historical buildings & history & pretty with the Meuse river running through it. Luxembourg has a mix of old historical beautiful buildings & a few new ones. Enjoyed the walking tour through this independent sovereign principality. It was cold & drizzly towards the end so would have preferred if we headed back by 4pm rather than 5pm back to Brussels. Traffic was heavy too when returning so didn’t get back to Brussels till 8.30 pm . Overall an enjoyable day

Tour was good. A good way to see Luxembourg and Dinant. Tour guide was relatable and knowledgable. The pace was good for people of all ages.

We enjoyed visiting Dinant and Luxembourg. Both were so stunningly beautiful that we want to visit them again and spend more time in each. Arianne was extremely knowledgeable about both locations and made the history of each city so intriguing that we wanted to learn more. She also made wonderful recommendations about activities and meals in each location. Ben was an excellent driver and made the journey nice and smooth.
