One of our most popular tours: Luxemburg is certainly a modern and vibrant city with a rich history and impressive ancient and contemporary architecture. In the old part of Luxembourg, our guide will take you to the cathedral, the Palace of the Grand Duke and the Place d’Armes. In downtown Luxembourg you will enjoy a spectacular view of the Kirchberg district, home to several European institutions. In the valley, you will be able to see a trail of the Casemates, the abbey of Neumünster, the city walls and the picturesque sites along the river Alzette.
After some free time in the city, you will explore the quaint town of Dinant, with its fifteenth century collegial church and its impressive citadel. Dinant’s name originates from the Celtic “Divo Nanto”, which means “Sacred Valley”. This little town is dramatically perched on the narrow banks of the River MeuseI. This is the cradle of the Leffe beer and the birth place of Adolphe Sax, the inventor of the saxophone.

4.00Great experience - a ‘must do’! Coach waiting at pick up point for us and all connections throughout the day were reliable. Informative and knowledgeable guide made the day enjoyable. A nice mix of free time and guided tour. Worth planning itinerary for Luxembourg to make the most of the time there - we had less than 1.5 hours in Dinant due to traffic which was limiting but enjoyable nonetheless.

5.00A great, informative and well organised trip with guide Ariane and driver Murad. It would have been good to know in advance that the toilets at the service stop on the way to Luxembourg are NOT free, just in case anyone else gets caught off guard

5.00Unless you have these places as high on your list to explore by yourselves, I'd say that this tour is about right. Both places are very beautiful. The guide spoke good English although the tour narration was in Spanish/English. She provided good background and history along the route and we also had a walking tour in Luxembourg. She managed the tour very well. There was a decent amount of free time for us to roam about, take pictures and eat. Overall, we had a good time.
