Even if you only have a few hours here, this is enough to enjoy the beauty of the city. We will start our 2-hour journey in the city center, walk through picturesque streets and squares, see old churches, the Royal Palace and breathtaking views from the walls of the ancient fortress. Then, we will make our way down the valley to the Grund where you will dive into the quietness of former Neumünster Abbey.

You will hear some nice stories about the foundation of the Grand Duchy, explain the origin of the language and the existence of the underground tunnels, the "Casemates". In addition, the guide will share with you some inside jokes, introduce you to the modern life of the city and answer any questions you may have. Finally, you will have the opportunity to taste some Luxembourgish delights and a drink.

In the end, we will be back in the city center from where you can continue your own visit.

We enjoyed the beautiful walk together with our guide Marc. We turned out to be the only ones who booked this tour, he took all the time! We walked a lot, saw and he could tell us a lot, full of enthusiasm.. recommended!

Lovely little tour with a small group and an attentive guide. A mix of history culture and just interesting information. Managed to cover most of the main sites on the same walk, given the size of Luxembourg. Would recommend as a good see most of the things hear most of the stuff to.

We had a great time on this tour with the wonderful Gabi guiding us through the city. Even though it was wet and windy, Gabi kept the group’s spirits up and made sure everyone had a good time. She showed us all around the old town which was beautiful and included a stop at a bakery for the best madeleine I’ve ever tasted.

Anders showed us way more on the tour than we would have seen on our own. Beautiful city and country. Great orientation into Luxembourg with deeper dives into more information as requested . Francesco was by far the best walking tour guide we’ve encountered throughout Europe. The passion he displays for his beloved city is unmatched. The way he interacts and challenges the guests with questions makes the tour special and fun as well as a wonderful learning experience. He was kind enough to give us some extra time to explore even more sights than planned and we were thrilled by this kind gesture as well.
