Luxor Temple
Luxor temple locates in the heart of the city and direct on the Nile. It was built by the king Imenhotep III, the grand father of Tutankhamun. More additions were made by Ramses II, like the pylons, obelisks and colossal statues in front of the entrance. The temple is well preserved. It is well recommended to visit it.
The Karnak Temple
Karnak temple is the biggest religious complex in the world, it is such a massive open air museum and the oldest in Luxor city. Inside are the chapel of king Seti, temple of Ramses III, Statues of Ramses II, obelisk of Tutmosis II and another obelisk of queen Hatshepsut.

5.00This excursion from Hurghada to Luxor with Sam Egypt Tours was a wonderful experience that I can only highly recommend to everyone! The communication ahead of the trip was very professional, friendly and fast. The driver picked me up on time at my hotel and the car was very comfortable. On the way, my guide explained the different cultural sites and customized the itinerary according to my interests, which made it even more special. We visited the Karnak temple, the temple of Ramses III., the colossi of Memnon and the valley of kings. The whole organization was very professional. Tickets were bought in advance (they even included a ticket for Tutankhamun's tomb that you usually have to buy separately). We were able to skip lines and beat crowds. My guide was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. In between we did a lovely boat tour on the Nile and had an Egyptian lunch on the Thebes side. My stomach is usually quite sensitive but I had zero problems and the food was absolutely amazing. In a nutshell: I had a fantastic experience, felt like a VIP the entire trip and recommend discovering Luxor's treasures with this operator (also recommended for women wanting to go on an excursion by themselves)! 5.00We spent a very nice day in Luxor! It was perfectly organized from hotel pickup to late evening arrival. The very sympathetic guide took care of everything, we felt VIP from the first second and could enjoy everything. We can really recommend this event to anyone, it was worth every euro.

5.00My boyfriend and I booked a beautiful private Luxor trip through Sam Egypt in October. We were picked up in the air-conditioned car from our hotel in Hurghada at around 5.00 am and left for Luxor. Along the way, our guide discussed and planned the exact itinerary with us (Valley of Kings, Temple of Ramses III, Colossi of Memnon, Nile cruise, Oriental lunch and Karnak temple). Due to the great planning we had the Temple of Ramses III and the Karnak Temple almost to ourselves and we could visit three very different tombs in the Valley of the Kings. We were able to take many photos and our guide was able to answer all our questions with his extensive expertise. It was therefore an unforgettable experience. Thank you for the many explanations and the safe and fast journey to Luxor. We are already planning the next trip with Sam Egypt to Cairo next year.

5.00A colleague gave me Hamada's telephone number. I discussed our wishes and a private tour from our hotel in Hurghada to Luxor with Hamada via WhatsApp to discover ancient Egypt. From the start, Hamada was very friendly in contact. What we especially like is that he understands and speaks the Dutch language well. We were picked up from our hotel by a private driver. We never felt unsafe for a moment. The private driver and Hamada took good care of us. It was also nice that we were warned in advance about pushy sellers. You can tell that Hamada has a lot of knowledge about ancient Egypt and knows what he is talking about. It was a very nice, interesting tour and we had a wonderful day that we will always remember. If you want to take a tour in Egypt, Hamada is definitely recommended!

5.00My partner and I had an AMAZING experience with Sameypt tours. Our driver and guide were very professional. It's an early morning start (5 am) and a long day, however it is so worth it. I have to say Osama, our guide, is so knowledgable about Egyptian history, and he's passionate about sharing the history. I would highly recommend this private trip to Luxor. 5.00Last Monday we were able to discover the treasures of Egypt with 4 people in the form of a private tour, together with the very experienced (Dutch speaking guide) named Hamada! The tour was well prepared and everything was perfectly put together. The 2 drivers have also done an excellent service. A wonderful experience. The Egyptologist Hamada is a fine tour guide! 5.00We started our trip to Luxor at 5 am. Our driver and our guide picked us up on right time. We had a four hour driving with one stop to reach our destination in a comfortable vehicle. We arrived among the first ones in the the Valley of the Queens avoiding the crowd.. With my husband, we returned 19 years later after our first trip to Luxor and the place was amazing again! Due to our wonderful guide, Hamada we had a very enjoyable, interesting and tailor-made trip and my big dream, visiting the tomb of Nefertari could be also realised. Hamada vas very knowledgeable and humorous, he made our day. The whole trip was excellent. I can recommend to everyone!
