During this 40-minute flight over the Hana Rainforest with exclusive landing within the Wailua Valley, see popular points of interest such as the Road to Hana as well as Jurassic Rock. The highlight of this experience will be the landing at a former taro plantation where you'll be given time to explore the natural landscape!

Due to comfort and weight / balance of the aircraft, passengers weighing over 275 lbs (124 kg or 19.6 stone) will be required to purchase an additional seat; this is payable directly to the tour operator on the day of the tour

The total weight of the helicopter cannot exceed 1,140 lbs (518 kg)

There is a maximum capacity of 7 people per helicopter, plus your pilot

Per FAA Regulations, original government issued photo ID such as a REAL-ID compliant driver's license or a valid passport is required for all travelers over the age of 18. Photocopies or digital IDs are not accepted. Any guest arriving without original, government-issued identification will be denied check-in, and no refunds will be issued for any guest in the reservation.

Helicopter seating is based on legal weight & balance limits and will be assigned after check-in. Maverick Helicopters does not guarantee seating next to or in the same row of the rest of the party.”

Closed-toed shoes are highly recommended for anyone landing as the ground can be uneven and wet.

As you fly along Maui’s North Coast, you'll enjoy views of breathtaking sea cliffs and cascading waterfalls on your 40-minute round-trip helicopter flight. Your pilot will point out popular points of interest from above such as Paia, Hookipa, Haiku and the famous surf destination – JAWS. You'll also see the 'Road to Hana' and the iconic Jurassic Rock before your exclusive landing destination deep in the Hawaiian rainforest.

I didn't fly on my original booked trip because I was the only person booked for that time but took a different trip with them and it was great! We flew over the West Maui mountains then over the straight between Maui and Moloka'i, saw amazing waterfalls and valleys and the craters, amazing sea cliffs and more waterfalls, then back over to Maui seeing a number of whales surfacing on the way. Felix, our pilot was wonderful with commentary and circled around for all of us to get great views. Then back over Kaanapali and Lahina and the west Maui crater. I recommend thus trip and this company.

We met and reviewed the instructions. Short information given by pilot. Beautiful scenery of shore, water falls and Hana Roadway. We landed in the rain forrest and we were able to walk around and explore. It was a fantastic way to enjoy the day

Maverick Helicopters is a 1st class operation from walking in the door to landing. The staff and pilots were all personable and professional. If you want to see waterfalls, this is the ticket. We flew out with 3 helicopters and it was very cool to all come in to the private landing area with all of them lined up and then having a champagne toast in the middle of the rain forest.

Ethan was a great pilot and told us a lot about the area. We had a great time and would go again. We even got to see some humpback whales breaching.

We highly recommend Maverick Helicopters. I booked this trip for my in laws and after having to move our original booking to another timeslot the day before and then changing due to weather, they upgraded the two of them to a better tour and really helped it still feel special. They felt safe and secure the entire trip with their pilot, John.
