This is a privately guided & chauffeured, luxury full day tour of The Hidden Ring of Kerry and Skellig Ring exploring some of the most beautiful vistas on the Wild Atlantic Way in Ireland. Sit back and relax in executive style while enjoying one of Ireland's most famous drives, reaching breathtaking places the typical bus tours just can't reach and most self-guided tours miss entirely. Starting from Killarney we'll travel The Skellig Ring along the rugged coast with views to the filming location of the new Star Wars movies. In Mercedes luxury, the day will be entirely at your pace with plenty of photo stops for guests with everything from professional photography equipment to the smallest point and shoot. This is a day tour for those wanting a truly unique touring experience. With pick-up and return to your accommodation, this will be a day for the memory books and photo memory cards. Departing from your Killarney accommodation at 9:30, we'll get this magnificent day underway. With advance information about your photography interests, such as wildlife, landscapes or historical sites, we'll head off to the less traveled portion of the Ring of Kerry, The Skellig Ring. Along the coast of the Iveragh peninsula, we'll then head toward Waterville, the summer home of Charlie Chaplin and also see the home of Daniel O' Connell near Cahersiveen. As weather can always be a possible issue when you are planning your Irish Adventure, we'll make our absolute best effort to ensure your photography tour is all you hoped for rain or shine! This private photography tour, like all of our tours, is always "Your Tour - Your Trail" and your guide will consider your interests so the day is at a pace which suits you best.

5.00We had the best day on the Ring of Kerry with Gerard. He’s personable and fun, knows everything there is to know about the area and had all kinds of good advice for us including where to get the best Irish Coffee at 10:30am.😁 He gave us lots of time to wander on our own, recommended a great lunch stop at the Waterville golf course and somehow even managed to arrange beautiful fall weather for us! Very highly recommended.
Great and memorable times had by all!

5.00Oh boy!! First trip to Ireland, and we were fortunate to choose Gerard Scott as our 1-day guide for Ring of Kerry. What a professional and engaging person he is! I do not think we would have learned nearly as much as we did about the history and culture of this part of Ireland without learning from Mr. Scott. Made for a great day, and plenty of food for thought in the days after.

5.00Back in the USA fondly recalling our recent trip, I must let you know that our tour with Lorraine remains a highlight. She was fabulous! In addition to being the greatest guide, she engaged on any topic that came up, Ireland related or not. We all said over and over how lucky we were to have such a talented person to show us the ropes.

5.00Our day trip with Girard was unexpectedly and wonderfully filled with gorgeous views, special little experiences, laughs and wows! that we're still integrating. Girard more than knows his territory, gave us terrific travel advice and made the investment of time and money completely worthwhile. We're still integrating all we took in with him. 5.00This was a fantastic tour around the Ring of Kerry and Skellig peninsula. It was obvious that our guide Gerard not only loved his native Killarney region and was extremely knowledgeable but was also a delight to ride with. He quickly communicated with us in the States as we planned our trip and promptly collected us from our hotel at the prerearranged time. It was leisurely but covered the beautiful region completely and gave us an historical and cultural experience at a pace that adapted to our needs and interests. He knew many of the folks in the towns and villages that we stopped at. It was a great experience and affordable compared to similar tours. Don't miss the opportunity to have this experience.

5.00This is absolutely the BEST way to see Ireland, and I cannot recommend Gerard enough! (I do not recommend driving on these narrow, windy roads). We had three generations of family members traveling and gave him what seemed like an impossible task: We wanted to see the best of the Ring of Kerry without spending all day in the car AND we wanted to split up. Three of us wanted to hike and the older three (in their 70s and 80s) wanted to see some of the historical sights. Gerard recommended the hike to Devil’s Punchbowl and Mangerton Mountain which took about three hours and was absolutely stunning. The others toured Muckross House and a church and really enjoyed both. We went to Kenmare for lunch (enjoying the beautiful views along the Ring of Kerry as we drove) and on our way back, Gerard proposed a stop to watch sheep dog herding. We loved this experience and were blown away by the skills, enthusiasm, and obedience of this young collie! This was one of our best days in Ireland, and Gerard’s vehicle was spacious and comfortable. Even better, Gerard entertained us with his stories, music, and history of the region. We hope to return and have him take us to the Dingle Peninsula next time!

5.00She glad that we booked this private tour! Our guide Bertie was the best! Not only was he kind be he was extremely knowledgeable about every stop we made around the Ring of Kerry. He took us to the most amazing spots to get photographs. We had requested a stop to see sheep herding and a stop at Skelligs Chocolates and Bertie was sure to get us to both. Great experience watching the sheepdogs in action and the chocolates were great. Bertie was very informative and most importantly he is a safe driver. I would highly recommend him and the trip around the Ring of Kerry.

5.00Gerard Scott is fabulous! He picked up our multi generational family of 6 in Kenmare. He spent the day taking us all around the Ring of Kerry. He popped into some cute towns on the way for coffee, a golf course or two! Then he arranged for a boat to take us around Skellig Micheal Island. After the boat ride he had a place already arranged for lunch, 100% on top of everything before we even had to ask! His knowledge of the area and his stories were great. I highly highly recommend Gerard and we will definitely be using him again when we return to Ireland.
