Along the way, you will discover three bistronomic establishments, each with its atmosphere, signature dish and glass of wine. The starter, main course and dessert are served in three different places, carefully selected according to the season, your preferences and the good addresses of the moment.
Between each stop, your Insider shares anecdotes and stories of the city as you explore the pretty streets of the Peninsula on foot. It is an original, tasty and local way to taste Lyon – literally and figuratively.

5.00Our food tour with Laura was a lot of fun. She was friendly and engaging, we never ran out of topics to discuss. We enjoyed the wine shop and each restaurant, the last one we went to felt like a special experience. They were well paced also. We would have missed out on each of these places if we hadn't taken the tour!

5.00The one experience not to miss if you’re wishing to discover Lyon as a propre local! I have experienced that amazing tour with Aldric, my local insider, I absolutely loved it. Aldric was very professional, kind and interesting. The food and service quality of the chosen different places were outstanding, very local and intimate restaurants in which we don’t feel like tourists, we feel like french people ! Staff restaurants were very welcoming and Aldric was also telling me entertaining anecdotes about Lyon city in between the different stops which gave some caracter to the expérience ! Thanks a lot to Insiders , I definitely recommend .

We were able to experience unique and truly local venues we would have never found on our own. The food and wines were oustanding, and the staff at each stop was very attentive and informative, ensuring a very personal and memorable evening, totally exceeding our expectations!

5.00Aldric did a wonderful job! He met my wife and me at a nearby square and walked with us around the city, taking us to 3 different restaurants that locals might eat at. All 3 were excellent, and having a local there with us to help translate and share recommendations made it a special experience. We did this activity on our first night in Lyon, and Aldric was kind enough to share many fantastic recommendations for places to eat and things to do that we wouldn’t have found on our own.

5.00We spent a thoroughly enjoyable evening in Lyon with Max. We visited three local restaurants that he had chosen - each of which was excellent and offered something very different from the more touristic restaurants recommended by many online guides. Max was also great company and provided us with little snippets of unusual information about many of the places that we passed during the evening. We would recommend this tour to anyone looking to enjoy good food, good wine and good company in Lyon!

From hidden gems to classic favorites, the variety and quality of the food and wine was outstanding. Each tasting came with just the right amount of background and storytelling, making the experience both delicious and meaningful. I left the tour not only full but with a much deeper appreciation for Lyon’s rich food culture. Highly recommended!

From the very beginning, our guide (a true fan of local cuisine) immersed us in the history and secrets of the “capital of gastronomy” with enthusiasm, anecdotes and good humor. 📍 Unforgettable highlights: - Tailor-made itinerary in the emblematic districts of Lyon: from the cobbled streets of Old Lyon to the traboules, the route was intimate and perfect to discover the soul of the city. - Rigorous selection of “plugs” and artisans: each proposed place (bakery, charcuterie, cheese factory, pastry and of course Lyon cork) had a typical ultra tasty product. Our taste buds danced between charcutaille, quenelle, local cheese, sweet corks... Generous quantities and creative tastings: we ate like kings, while learning local traditions and techniques.
