Do Eat Better Experience Lyon Food Tour is a walking tour around the old town. You will be guided by a Local Expert who's able to explain every detail of the selected restaurants, their preparations, and any other relevant curiosity.
Our Food Tour will introduce you to typical Lyon food. You’ll get to see the most central parts of the city, but you’ll also get more secret tips from a local guide. 5.00This was such a fantastic tour of Lyon, and our guide, Nathalie, was a great combination of knowledgeable, funny and welcoming. We learned so much about the city, the history and the food here and beyond into the wider regions of France. The samplings arranged for us were all fantastic, from the wine and cheese at the beginning, through the cunelle - which I would never have ordered for myself, but which I loved - and to the sweet treats towards the end of the tour, we came away with a greater knowledge and appreciation of the culinary highlights of the city. We also got some great tips for the remaining days of our stay here. Highly recommended!

5.00Anna, the guide, really made the experience - she knew all the inside stories on the food of Lyon! The food was amazing and each selected place had their own specialty. We tried food that I would not normally try on my own and all were delicious. This experience does take a full 3 hours for the 5 stops. I highly recommend!

5.00Nathalie was our guide and she was fantastic! Extremely knowledgeable about Lyon, the cuisine and its connections with other towns and cities. Her enthusiasm for what she does made the evening even more special. We got a tour of the entire old town of Lyon, not just going from one eating/drinking venue to another. That part was so comprehensive that we don’t feel the need to explore that part of Lyon any further. If you can do only one tour in Lyon this is the one!

5.00Our guide Anna was excellent. We enjoyed learning about the Lyonnaise food and culture from her. The walk through Vieux Lyon was one of our favorite activities in Lyon. We enjoyed each stop we made. The hosts at each location were very hospitable. Would recommend this tour.

5.00The experience was great and provided a good selection of local foods. Anna our guide was extremely knowledgeable and fun to be with! The old town atmosphere just added to the tour. I would do it again and recommend both the tour and Ana as the guide.
