Do Eat Better Experience Lyon Food Tour is a walking tour around the old town. You will be guided by a Local Expert who's able to explain every detail of the selected restaurants, their preparations, and any other relevant curiosity.

5.00Look no further for a fantastic tour, full of education, food, sips & authentic atmosphere w/Natalie (if you are lucky enough to get her!). Natalie truly captures the best of Lyon into this tour. I have been on several food/walking tours in my EU travels and hers was hands-down my favorite. She knows an extensive history of Michelin star chefs and engaged with other tour members who brought their own knowledge to the discussions. I can’t believe how much I learned! I’m still trying to absorb everything; even along the walk, we stopped at historical points that I never would have known existed or the significance. We met lovely shop owners and learned about their products before sitting down to wonderfully prepared tables at the stops. It felt incredibly special and so relaxing (as I am the trip planner usually in my family). I loved being in Natalie’s organized hands! After the tour, Natalie followed up with priceless tips in a text to make sure we had her recommendations for other days. Natalie’s itinerary was so full of information and I will actually book again w/her when I return with my spouse; I just want him to benefit w/this exact orientation to Lyon! My suggestion-go on this tour as soon as you arrive to maximize all the great follow up recommendations as well as broaden your understanding of the city. Pro tip: book for a Thursday night. You’ll benefit by missing a hard night to get a dinner reservation and enjoy outdoor people watching (college age are out en masse)

5.00Elizabetta is a great guide, and I highly recommend this tour! The walk through the particular area where the restaurants are has such a cool vibe. We learned about the history and culture of the area. We got to meet some of the shop owners, who were so welcoming. I felt like we were getting a real local’s welcoming! It was fun, and the food was great. Elizabetta did a great job giving us background.

5.00My wife and I took this great food and history tour through Lyon with Elizabeth who was a fantastic guide and told numerous interesting stories. A special mention to the stop at Le Sirop De La Rue (awesome owner) and the Genepi at the end. A great evening in Lyon
