We enjoyed a great day sampling some delights and highlights of Funchal foods. The selection of venues was perfect giving us the opportunity to sample a great variety of food and wine whilst wandering the charming streets of the city. We received a warm welcome at each location & was lovely to meet up with Neil and share his enthusiasm for the food on offer in Funchal. We highly recommend this no pressure, self guided tour, we’ll definitely be back next time. Thanks Neil.

It was a really well organised tour. Started very strong with the first restaurant where I have tasted very delicious traditional Madeirian foods. The tour was easy to follow, it guided me through Funchal. I enjoyed every bit of it.

One of the best food tours I’ve ever been on! Neil was absolutely amazing. Everything was included…cheese, chocolate, cookies, and more. It easy to navigate the streets of downtown Funchal on our own. It was fun, engaging, and totally self-directed. At first, we were a bit skeptical about doing a self directed tour like this, but it turned out to be an absolute blast. I would do this again and again! If I could give 10 stars, I would. Neil, awesome job and thank you for all your recommendations you’re incredible!

Funchal, the city of funcho , but the city has so much more to offer than just fennel. Madeira Food Tours is the perfect way to discover the local flavors and insider spots of the city.
